PAMPER ESSENTIALS

✎ Friday, 5 July 2013
It's either a Friday afternoon and a Sunday evening of the week were I take five a treat myself to a little bit of pampering. Now I do not have the luxury of having a bath in my apartment at the moment which has seen my pamper products lessen however I still make the time to use a few masks and have a long shower.

Before hoping in the shower I use the Sanctuary Brightening Facial Polishing Hot Cloth Cleanser. This is a relatively new product to me however I'm really enjoying it so far. I reserve this for pamper evenings or for days where I've had a rough day because it is quite a process but I love doing it for the ultimate relaxation and it really does a deep cleanse whilst making your skin look glowing.

In the shower I'll first shampoo my hair and pop the Toni & Guy Reconstruction Mask (full review here) on. This an old favourite and I'm trying to use him up so I can move onto other things. I like this mask because it does really nourish your hair but does weight down my hair afterwards. Whilst that is cooking my hair I do a whole body exfoliation which I always turn to my Soap and Glory Flake Away Scrub. This is heavenly and smells just incredible If you haven't tried this then I highly recommend it. I love how the scent lingers!

Hoping out of the shower I usually pop on a mask now if you seen this post you know that the Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask (full review here) isn't one I've been turning too lately. However, the past few days my skin has completely cleared so I like to use this to even out my skin tone and make my skin look growly and delicious. Whilst that is cooking my face I do moisturiser my whole body using the RubiFresh Body Cream* I love the smell of this, it smells like lemon and mint and I love it. I like a thicker body cream which is what this is and it absorbs quickly which is something I need because I hate feeling sicker and gross!

For finishing touches I like to use my Kosmea Skin Clinic Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil* this is my favourite facial oil which I do use every night however I make sure I especially use this after face masks because I find it absorbs better and if the mask is clay based it helps inject some moisturse back into the skin. Lastly I finish with doing my nails and Revlon 350 Raspberry Rapture is the colour of the moment. I know it isn't very wintery but I love the bright pop of pink of my nails.

What are you favourite products for a pamper evening?
Have you tried any of these ones? What did you think?

As always if you want a full review of any of the products do make sure you let me know in the comments :)

  2. I would definitely love a review of the body cream, if you don't already have one! I love mint and lemon scents, so that might be something I love!

I've never tried any of the Soap & Glory products, although I always *think* about it and then forget once I go to Sephora or order something online! Such a bummer! Maybe one of these days I'll actually pick something up!

  4. Hi Sarah. I'd like to try that Flake Away scrub. I haven't tried something like that, but it sounds luxurious, and I'm definitely more interested because you said it smells so good. I like to do a facial mask once a week, it feels great to see the results of a deep clean and some nourishment for your skin. My fav is The Little Alchemist Banana and Cacao Face Glow scrub, but I've almost run out. I'm heading into the city next week, I'm hoping to find a nice one at Lush. Do you know of a good Lush face mask? sparkle2day.com

    1. It's got a really lovely scent I'd highly recommend it. No sorry I'm not too familiar with Lush, good luck! I'm sure the sales assistants will be able to point you in the right direction.

  9. I'm dying to try the Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask! I really want to buy an exfoliating mask like it but don't know if I can bring myself to fork out >$60 on it. The Sanctuary cleanser I find does irritate my skin a bit, especially if I use it with the included muslin cloth. Maybe it's the essential oils content, but my face is a bit more red after using it.

    1. I know what you mean it is really pricey. Oh no! I've been really enjoying the whole hot cloth cleanser... My skin is pretty sturdy though - nothing apart from eye creams have irritated my skin.
