ILLAMASQUA GLAMORE NAILS

Illamasqua has quite the reputation for releasing incredible nail polishes and the latest from recently released 'Glamore' collection are no disappointment. These polishes are as beautiful in the bottle as they are on the nails. Illamasqua have definitely hit the mark once again. 

Fire Rose is a gorgeous orange shade with fine gold glitter throughout, this is easily my least favourite as I shy away from bold orange tones however there is no denying the beautiful glitter finish this one gives. Marquise is a rosy pink with different sized silver and pink glitters through similarly with next shade 'Trilliani' which has different sized glitters too. I find these are more multi-dimensional on the nails are I adore both for added interest on my accent nail.

As for the formulation considering these are glitter polishes they apply incredibly smooth and opaque. The above swatches are with only two layers. These do have a textured finish which can be a little annoying if you're wearing a wooly cardi because your nails can get caught but it's easily fixed with applying a top coat over the top. 

My only gripe with these polishes are the packaging and this goes for all Illamasqua polishes I own - the lids screw past being flush and looking all pretty. Instead you're left with an ugly distorted bottle after first use. Perhaps it's a little OCD of me to nit-pick that characteristic out but it's annoying. 

Overall Illamasqua have nailed (sorry I couldn't resist) this release. I adore the three colours they've released and the shattered effect is beautiful.
