Lust Have It! have been promising new packaging for what seems like months and finally it's here. A clear make up back with 'Lustre Beauty' greeted me and I'm so happy to say the wait was completely worth it. Well done LHI team for producing such great new packaging! I received my pack on the 5th of May which is normal for me because I do receive press packs. However I did see a few people complaining on social media that they too had not received their packs yet. Hopefully this is just a glitch with waiting on the new packaging and in the coming months shipping will improve.
Glamourflage Jane Gem Face Primer RRP $22.95 (fullsize)
Easily the most exciting product in this months box because it's make up, it's full size and it's a base product. I know Glamourflage from their bronzing products (which are amazing if you're wondering) but I have not tried any make up from them. I'm interested to see how this goes!
Claytime Mineral Bronzer RRP $29.95 (fullsize)
I've tried a loose powder foundation sample from Claytime and I was super pressed with the formulation, wear and coverage despite the fact I'm not usually a fan of loose products. For that reason alone, I'm excited to try out something else from the brand and hopefully I'm just as impressed.
Bioderma Atoderm Cream RRP $29.95 200ml
I feel like I've received about five of these from different subscription boxes. When I receive moisturisers I feel as though they're a bit of a filler product. I do like this moisturiser though and it is going into the cooler months so it will be used but it doesn't excite me.
Wotnot Facial Wipes for Oil/Sensitive Skin RRP $7.95 for 7 wipes
A new edition to my favourite line of facial wipes yay! I've actually already tried a pack of these and they're just as good as the regular ones I usually use. I'm happy to have received a small pack too because they're perfect to pop in your handbag.
Aveeno Daily Moisturiser RRP $9.99 225mL
Again I feel as though I've received this a few times before too and it's a filler product. If LHI want to include moisturising products I'd like to see a variation in brands rather then the same old samples.
Overall I'm impressed with the new packaging that LHI have produced and this box was good. It's nothing amazing because the two moisturisers let it down but the rest of the box I'm extremely happy with. I like seeing new make up brands and full size products included but when it comes to those pesky moisturisers please LHI change them up!

ReplyDeleteI totally agree with the moisturisers being a filler! I feel the same way. I also don't understand how these subscription boxes are late all the time and still have a business.

ReplyDeleteI subscribe to their Eco quarterly box and the packaging has been getting progressively worse over the last few boxes. The one I received a couple of weeks ago was just a cardboard box with loose products inside and a "postcard" which wasn't even cut well. Pretty poor effort!
I also got the Aveeno moisturiser and I too feel like I've seen this brand a little too often. Jealous of your Wotnot facial wipes through!
Personally I'm not a fan of the new packaging - it feels/smells very plasticky & cheap, and I'm not holding out my hope for the zip - I much preferred the old beautiful boxes, which I've used all I've received for various different uses. The card listing the items is really nastily printed as well, on cheap paper, and cut all wonky. Overall it just smacks of nasty cheapness. Another reason to cancel from me unfortunately. DeleteIt's poor form for them to send out press packs when people haven't received the ones they've paid for.. I'm still waiting on mine and after emailing them was told it was send out in the 2nd shipment on the 5th - the day yours arrived! Not good enough Lust Have it!
