You all have permission to slap me on the wrist because I have been giving my new curling wand a real work out this month. Along with the increase in heat I'm using I've had to use a heat protectant. I never thought I would enjoy a heat protectant spray but this Tresemme Keratin Smooth Heat Protectant Spray* has a fine mist that evenly coats the hair. Another styling product I've been really enjoying is the Toni & Guy Cleanse Dry Shampoo*. It doesn't have any white residue when sprayed meaning you don't need to worry about working it throughout your hair. It's alot quicker and I find it refreshing better then any other dry shampoo I've used.

The past month has been a good one in terms of finding some killer new skincare products. You're all probably sick of me going on and on about the Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel* but it really is amazing at clearing up spots. I did a full review so I don't need to say much more but it really is fab. For the first half of the month this Argan Life Night Skin Serum* was my exclusive night time moisturiser. The scent is beautiful, almost relaxing, and the formulation is incredible too. It's extremely moisturising and leaves my skin glowing. During the day I've been reaching for my Dermalogica Active Moist* which is light-weight, hydrating and super smoothing so using it before make up is perfect. It also doesn't overload the skin so perfect for any combination/oily skinned girls looking for something hydrating.

Laura Mercier is back as my exclusive base the Silk Creme Foundation and Secret Camouflage Concealer Duo* are the ultimate dream team. I've been applying a very light layer of the foundation and then concealing if I need. The foundation is gorgeous, illuminating and light on the skin. The concealer makes sure that you have a good skin day everyday because it's such high coverage but SO long-lasting on the skin. My eyeliner of choice has been the Loreal Super Liner Blockbuster* which looks scary but it's actually super fool proof. Creating a wing liner is as simple as moving the pen on an angle which is exactly what I need!
For blush I've been digging a bit more of a brighter pop of colour. The Hourglass Ambient Blush in Radiant Magenta is such an amazing colour and the formulation is heavenly - not to pigmented but still smooth. The Mineral Blush in 'Mixed Berries'* has been perfect for a berry toned pop. It isn't something I'd usually pick for myself but I've definitely been loving it. For lips it's been all the Savvy Long-Lasting Matte Lipstick in Bali which is a beautiful berry colour. It doesn't wear particularly well but it's such a gorgeous colour and for the price you can't go wrong.

I need to check out the Toni & Guy dry shampoo, I can never properly brush away the 'grey hair' look I get using Batiste. I should also check out Laura Mercier foundations!
ReplyDeleteI've been using the Essence I Love Punk Jumbo eyeliner pen, I wanted the L'Oreal blockbuster one, but Essence was cheaper and I can't fault it!
Love the beautiful berry colours in your favourites this month! Perfect for the cooler weather.
ReplyDeleteI love Tresemme's hair protectant sprays, but I use the Thermal Creations Heat Tamer spray instead of the Keratin Smooth one :) I really want to try the Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation, I've heard so much about it! The Hourglass blushes also look so beautiful...

That Toni&Guy dry shampoo sounds lovely, I really hate those that spray white all over your hair. I need to check out the Savvy by DB lipstick range, they've done so well in bringing out new releases.
ReplyDeleteOhhh some goodies I'd really love to try! xx
ReplyDeleteI also love Laura Mercier base products! I used to use that Dermalogica moisturiser back when I was a teenager, totally forgot about it.
