I've swapped too blow-drying my hair over air-drying this week because I'm fed up with the cold weather ensuring my hair stays damp all night/day. I'm not complaining too much because it means I'm able to use some products I wouldn't usually use when air-drying. The Redken Pillow Proof Express Primer* is one of those products I never thought would actually work but it does. This really helps cut down your blow-drying time which in turn makes your hair healthier. I really don't like the smell but I feel as though it makes a difference and does prolong styles. It's available from RY which is one of my favourite online stores for Redken products. The Toni & Guy 3D Volumiser* is amazing for injecting some serious volume into the roots of your hair. I insert the nozzle all over, usually doing about 10 pumps around my head, and then blow-dry. Amazing stuff.
Winter is taking a serious toll on my lips and face so I've broken out all the hydrating wonders in order to combat that. For lips the Suvana Paw Paw & Honey Balm* is amazing. I always find that other paw paw ointments make my lips even drier but this just treats any cracks or dry patches without a worry. Hydraluron is well and truly cemented it's place back into my morning routine now, I'm using it most days. I definitely notice a huge difference in my skin and it's texture when I use it however I wish I didn't have to sacrifice my make up lasting in order to use it.
Onto make up and I couldn't go without mentioning the Mac Lipstick in Sweetie. This is Plumful's little sister but alot more wearable. It's a Lustre finish so it's super comfy to wear everyday. This Illamasqua Powder Blush Duo in 'Beg/Bronzerella' I bought last year when I was on a bit of an Illamasqua kick. I think it was at the end of winter because I never really used it however I'm really enjoying it this year. I love using a combination of both shades for extra dimension without having to pull out a bronzer as well.
