THIS WEEKS MORE THAN ADORED #7

✎ Saturday, 16 August 2014
This week I've had a really great week in terms of loving some products, none are particularly fancy but all are incredible. I'll start off with my favourite duo which comes from Antipodes. They've recently releases an Anti-aging Mini Set* consisting of the night cream and night serum. I've always wanted to try Antipodes but I was never really sure where to start as the whole range is raved about. The serum is beautifully scent, hydrating and a dream to apply and as for the gorgeous night cream - I'm in love. I think this set was the perfect way to try out the brand for me and I'd recommend it. Although it's not available on the Priceline website it is exclusive to Priceline so make sure you keep an eye out for it because it. is. so. good.

More skincare items I've been enjoying come from Go-To Skincare and Thalgo. It's a bit trivial to me to be including both of these this week because when I first tried both I wasn't too sure they were for me. The Go-To Skincare Properly Clean Cleanser* is unlike any other foaming cleanser I've tried - it's gentle! When I first switched to this it didn't feel like it was really deep cleansing my face but I think that's just because I was using such a harsh cleanser before I switched. It's gorgeous, gentle, non-stripping but still oh-so statisfying with the fun foam consistency. I can also read all the ingredients on the back of the bottle so it's refreshing to finally have a good quality foaming cleanser in my routine. The Thalgo Reviving Marine Mist* is something I chucked into the whatever-it-won't-work pile when I first received it. When I finished up my current toner I pulled it out mainly to laugh at how stupid it was going to be BUT I was completely blown away by this spray. Unlike other sprays I notice a huge difference in softness of my skin and the way products absorb afterwards. I'm so impressed and would highly recommend it.

The next three products have been my lazy routine. I find winged eyeliner, a soft lip and tousled hair my go-to look when I want to look like I made an effort when really I was eating toast whilst getting dressed hurrying out the door. I know in my 'New In: July' post I featured this Covergirl Bombshell Liner* as a miss and it's still not my favourite applicator I've ever tried but the formulation of this is pretty amazing considering it's only $12. It's super black, long-lasting and doesn't transfer at all. Even though I prefer a flexible tip I would probably repurchase this just for the awesome formulation. The Rimmel Rita Ora collection has finally hit Australian shores and the Colour Rush Balm in 200 Keep Mauving* has been a fantastic long-lasting lip colour. It's not as mauve as I would like, it almost pulls pink, but it's still a great everyday shade and the formulation I've been really enjoying. Last up, the Toni & Guy Rough Texturiser is my new bestie. I was sent a press sample but I've gone and repurchased because unlike other textured sprays this gives you texture but you don't have to wash your hair at the end of the day. I really like it for a quick everyday spritz.

  2. The Rimmel balms sound really good, I'm not sure if any of the shades call out to me though! I'm loving the day time duo from Antipodes, if I see the nighttime one I'll be sure to pick it up!

  3. I would love to try the Rita Ora balms! Everyone is raving about Antipodes and I was looking at it in Priceline the other day but I think I'd have to wait for another skincare sale.

  7. I really want to try to the go-to brand! Thanks for the review,
I'm already a huge fan of the Antipodes night cream. I honestly love everything I have tried from the brand. I know you probably don't need any more new skincare items to try, but the manuka honey face mask from antipodes is amazing!

  8. Quite surprised to see you using the Covergirl eyeliner regularly. I tried it out a few months back and disliked it so much I had to throw it out. Does the formula really make up for the horrible application?
