It's not often I get super excited about a collection of brands but when I saw the Sigma Steady Glow Collection I was pretty impressed. The colour theme throughout the collection just had me hooked, the soft colours and intense shimmers were calling my name.

Let's start off the showstoppers of the collections which have to to be the loose shimmers. I know I go on and on about how I'm not a fan of loose products but I don't mind so much when the products are as high of a quality as these. Every colour from the nude shade called Ravishing to Gilded an intense gold shade are just a delight to work with. Whether they are used wet or dry they're just dreamy to work with and the end result is just beautiful. The three nude liners included in the collection are fantastic for carving out your brows or just wearing on the water line from day to day. I don't think that they're as creamy as other ones on the market but they do stay put through the day. Final Touch is my most used as it's the perfect peach colour for my skin tone.

Cream shadows can be pretty hit and miss with me because I have oily eyelids, some just don't hold up long enough for me to bother with applying. Despite that I was excited to try the shimmer creams because the three colours they released are beautiful. These are fairly creamy so if you have oily eyelids you're going to have to set them with a shadow otherwise they will crease but it's so worth it because the shades are beautiful.

You all know I was super impressed with the Warm Neutrals palette I purchased from Rouche Boutique earlier this year so I keen to see what the palette was like from this collection and it really didn't disappoint at all. It includes some really interesting shades like Sensational which is the matte mustard colour and other shades like Healthy which can look almost wet on the eye because of the intensity of the shade. This palette is beautiful just like my Warm Neutrals each shade is pigmented, smooth and easy to blend. I have to say Sigma shadows are probably my most used shadows of 2014 and easily one of my favourite discoveries! I'd highly recommend checking out this palette if you're looking for something new. There is so many gorgeous shades a good mixture of mattes and shimmers in there.

Getting away from eyes and I was really interested by the Lip Vex shades included in the collection. I'm slowly becoming more of a lipgloss gal so I was open to trying these more then I would've been two years ago. Although there is an odd shade called Dazzling which is essentially a weird, intense shimmer shade I do love the colour range and formulation. They are slightly tacky on the lips but I almost prefer to feel that with a gloss because it means it's going to last.

Overall I adore this collection and I think it's the perfect range to buy a few things from for the warmer months. Don't forget to enter 'MORETHANADORED' at the checkout over at Rouche Boutique for a 10% discount on any purchase - yay! Let me know whether you'd like to see swatches of any of the products and I'll do a separate post on those bits.

Have you tried any Sigma make up?

NEW IN SEPTEMBER 2014

September has seen some amazing launches both in the pharmacies and in the department stores. Here are our thoughts on the latest beauty launches.
It wasn't a huge month for make up but what has released has been really fantastic. The first thing I want to talk about is the new TruBlend line from Covergirl. There is a foundation, powder and concealer and what shocked me about this line is how amazing the colour range is compared to the Outlast Stay Fabolous - why?!!? Regardless I think my favourites are the powder and concealer because both are easy to work with. I'm still trying out the foundation but I feel as though it's not going to be as long lasting as I would like so my fingers are crossed that I find a combination I enjoy. Another base product I'm still figuring out is the Australis Mix It Colour Correcting Foundation. This is very thick on the skin so a little goes a long way and I'm still playing around with how to apply it to avoid caking but it's a fantastic medium coverage foundation - definitely not one for dry skin girls. Australis also listened to everyones cries for more Velourlip shades and they released Ho-Chee-Min, Hon-O-Loo-Loo, Lun-Dun, Mil-A-No and Mi-A-Mee. I'm yet to try them all on my lips but I do really like the shades, a full review and swatch post of those in coming up this month. Another lip release that I love is the new Lanolip Frutties that come in Peach, Apple and Strawberry. These are just another outstanding addition to the Lanolips line. My favourite is Peach. Rimmel have also released an innovative mascara called the Wonder-Full Mascara which contains argan oil. I think it's a bit gimmicky honestly because although it does contain argan oil it still isn't a natural product so there will still be the regular ingredients of a mascara in there but in saying that I do enjoy the formulation for everyday. It gives the lashes more length than volume and separates well.
There hasn't been too many new hair releases this month but the ones that have came out are fantastic. The Natural World Moroccan Argan Oil Moisture Repair Duo is a fantastic set for dry hair girls. They are super moisturising without leaving any sort of residue throughout the hair. These are stocked exclusive by The Beauty Office. Another moisturising hair product I've been loving is the Kevin Murphy Angel Masque which is actually the first Kevin Murphy haircare product I've tried. I love the packaging and the mask is amazing. It's super hydrating, detangles and leaves my hair feeling silky and smooth. A new styling powder comes from Eleven with their I Want Body Volume Powder. I'm a regular user of volume powders and I do really enjoy this one. It doesn't give you too much hold but I like that you're able to brush it out and restyle it.
My favourite fragrance release for this month is the new Beyonce Heat it's very floral but still sexy and I've been carrying it around in my handbag this month. The new Prada Candy is very floral as well but still has a tiny bit of sweetness to it. I'm not sure it's a 'wow' perfume for me but I do really like it. A body mist I've been enjoying is the Laura Mercier Verbena Infusion Mist which is a dry oil that has the most lovely fresh scent. I like using this straight out of the shower along with the gel body creme for a long-lasting fresh scent.
The main release for the skincare section is the Crop Skincare Line which hit the shelves this month. I'm a huge fan of this line because it's super affordable, 95% naturally derived, Australian made and has absolutely no nasties so it's fantastic for those who want to use those type of products on a budget. My pick from the bunch is the Double Sided Facial Wipes which have a bit of texture on one side that really helps remove make up but I also love the cleanser. All the oils (there is an argan, rose hip and macadamia) are marketed as a multi use products which is completely on point. Enough gushing about that line, Cetaphil have came out with a Suntivity SPF 30+ for very sensitive skin that is also friendly for oily skin girls. I'm not a huge fan of the texture, it feels very much like sunscreen, however it's great under make up and I have no complaints about the performance. The last skincare release is the John Plunkett Multi Vitamin Moisturiser which has been reformulated. This is a very basic moisturiser with no frills, contains a bunch of vitamins that'll help reduce dark spots and has no nasties in. I've only been using this one the past week but so far so good - I'll update you on whether it helps with my hyper pigmentation in the future.
For body there has been some really cool concepts hitting the shelves. My favourite has to be the Sanctuary Spa 4 Day Moisture Body Oil Spray. If you're anything like me you hear the word oil and instantly think it's going to take ages to sink in and is going to leave a film on the skin but this does exactly the opposite. It's very light and dries extremely quickly. I'm unsure about the 4 day moisture claim but I do like the product. Another unique products comes from Laura Mercier with the Gel Body Moisture in Verbena Infusion. The scent is quite fresh which is lovely for this time of year and the consitency is a gel formulation which means you still get a good hit of moisture without it being heavy or greasy. A new bath release comes from Aveda with their Shampure Calming Aromatic Oil. The scent is so glorious and just applying it to my skin makes me excited to bathe in it as soon as I get the chance. The Lanolips Antibacterial Hand Cream is another new product I've been loving. It contains lanolin and aloe meaning the scent is fresh, moisturising but fast-absorbing yay! Le Tan have released the Dark Bronze Shade to their Wash Off line in the form of a lotion and spray. I've spoken about the Wash Off line before - I love it and the new shade is fantastic - less orangey more bronze. Yesterday I spoke about the new St.Tropez Self Tan Express which I've been aboustely loving and is pretty much my exclusive tan of the moment.
There were some products that just didn't work for me. The Crop Daily Facial Moisturiser is great from days where you aren't wearing make up but I found this made me more oily throughout the day so I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with combination/oily skin. Another moisturising product that just didn't work for me was the Suntivity 50+ SPF for Face & Body. Although this claims to be suitable for the body and face it really isn't, it made me break out like crazy so I'll be reserving it for the body only from now one. One I love but I'm still mastering is the St.Tropex Luxe Dry Oil because it's so different when applying it. I tried it twice with a tanning mitt and I found I had to use alot of the product because it just seeped into the glove. I also found it a bit hard to apply evenly because of the oil consistency but I'm going to try it again without the glove and do a full review Sunday so keep your eyes peeled for that. Benefit have released their Benebalms and I was sure that these were going to be amazing however realistically their just a Maybelline Baby Lips in adorable packaging. They aren't bad products but for the RRP I think that you're better off going to Priceline and purchasing a tinted balm.
