Hummus is one of my favourite snacks and lately I’ve been making my own rather then forking out $5 a week for a small container at the supermarket. Here’s my favourite version yet!

Ingredients
1 can of chickpeas drained and rinsed
2 tablespoons of Mayvers Tahini (it’s the best kind)
3 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 teaspoons of crushed garlic
1/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil
Pinch of sea salt
3 tablespoons of greek yoghurt or 1/4 cup of water (I previously used greek yoghurt but I’m not able to have lactose so I substitute it for water, both work well)
1 tablespoon of Moroccan seasoning (optional)
Method:
1. Add all ingredients but the greek yoghurt or water, into food processor and blend until smooth.
2. Add in greek yogurt or water and blend again until it’s combined to your desired consistency.
I could say serve with carrots sticks for a super healthy snack but honestly my favourite way to eat it is with some pretzels :)
