THIS WEEKS MORE THAN ADORED #18

This week has been a crazy one for me and for all of Australia. We are still a bit shocked by the crazy events in Sydney and have been thinking of the families involved all week. Regardless of the weeks happenings here are some awesome beauty bits that are worth checking out.

I’ve already spoken about MAC’s Lip Liner in Beet this week but it’s love. It offers the perfect balance between red, pink and berry along with a super long-lasting finish there isn’t much more I could ask from a lip liner. I’ve been absolutely loving teaming that with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in ‘Radiant Magenta’. The way they play off each other is absolutely stunning. The formulation of these blushes are faultless too. For brows I’ve been quite enjoying a new offering from Eye Of Horus with their Husk Brow Define. The colour selection is great for blondes and I find that the pencil formulation is the perfect firmness for sculpting out brows.

My skin has been looking fairly decent lately and I haven’t needed any intense serums to calm breakouts so instead I’ve been reaching for the Clarins Double Serum. I think this is to me what Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair is too alot of other people. It does a bit of everything and I can always rely on it too make my skin look brighter, softer and just generally look better. For nail polish I’ve been loving the OPI Nail Laquer in A Good Man-Darin Is Hard To Find and Maybelline Superstay in Surreal. Both have gotten me a few compliments which is nice!

Some very random shower bits include the Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel which I almost purchased a full size of but decided I can only do that if I finish off another shower gel before Christmas. It’s overly sweet but I just love the way it smells! The last recommendation I have is the Schick Xtreme3 Razors because I’ve honestly never found anything even close to how amazing these are. They’re great for sensitive skin, give you a close shave and are just very easy to use. I recently strayed to try another type/brand and they were horrible. If you’re having trouble finding a good disposable razor these are great!

Everytime I see those Hourglass Blushes mentioned I always say that I need to pick them up and I still haven’t. >< Hopefully the new year will force me to finally pick one up lol.

That lip liner and those blushes are stunning! My gosh I think I may need to go and pick them both up. I’m in love! I must be honest here and say I can’t see where the fuss about Snow Fairy is coming from. Just a personal opinion I suppose. I love sweet scents but I found this a little off-putting. I wish I liked it as much as everyone else does though! xx

Clarins double serum is da bomb dignity - quite the fan. I love serums, especially ones that are dual featured. This is a goodie cause it doesnt leave a nasty residue and absorbs quick smart. Efficient products - just my style

Oh I’ve never heard of the Clarins Double serum before! ‘Surreal’ is such a pretty polish shade, and a lilac/blue shade is something I’m actually lacking in my collection!
And yes, still can’t quite believe what happened in Sydney! So sad :(
