THE L’OREAL GLAM MATTE GLOSSES

L’oreal have recently released the Glam Matte Glosses to the already extensive range of lip products they have to offer. The name may sound confusing but these are a lip must-have product.

What we usually associate with lipgloss is that high shine ‘glossy’ finish to the lips that is sometimes sticky but always so reflective. The L’oreal Glam Matte Lipglosses have taken the regular lipgloss formula and put a very modern age spin on the finish. Now you can still get the lightweight, comfortable feel of a lipgloss without the shiny finish. Genius.

Now these aren’t completely matte, there is still a bit of a sheen to them (dramatised in photos due to lighting) but overall they look a good coverage lipstick that is just doing it’s thing. The best thing? They are completely undetectable on the lips. I’m wearing Coral Denimista on the left and Skinny Tangerine on the right, I love both but the bright orange red wins because it makes my teeth look incredibly white - win!

So you get a good punch of colour, an amazing finish, no stickiness of a lipgloss or thickness of a lipstick and they are so god damn comfortable. I know what you’re thinking - what’s the catch? The only catch is that they aren’t extremely long-lasting but for me I’m willing to give up a long-lasting product for this formulation… It’s heavenly! Sounds like a pretty good deal?
