There seems to be a subscription box for everything and now there is one for your monthly visitor, that time of the month, your Aunty Flow - yep that’s right ladies your period. Love Lois is a tampon subscription box that you can have delivered right to your door.
Love Lois is a monthly delivery service that will send you a box every month full of tampons, pads, tea and choccies that’ll have you sorted for that time of the month. There are a range of different plans and you’re able to choose between tampon only, a mix or pad only. They also offer an organic plan and you’re able to pop in the usual length of your cycle so you can receive it as you need or just receive one at the start of the month depending on your preference.
The kit I received is the most popular which is the Melina Regular $23/per month. I received a good variety of pads, tampons as well as some treats. For me, the value is there however in the future I would opt for the tampon only box (this was a press send out so I was sent a generic box for review). The other thing that I noticed was the variation between boxes other bloggers received. Everyone was sent the Melina Regular kit and I noticed a real variation between the type of chocolates/teas included. Now this isn’t a huge deal but if I was paying for the service and someone received a whole bag of Lindt chocolates and I only received three I would be a little annoyed especially if I was PMSing! I’m not sure if this is a true reflection on the service however it is something I thought was worth noting.
Overall I do think this is a great service for those of us who are busy and never have a stash of products (I envy friends that are so ridiculously organised they have stashes to last a year) for that time of the month. It’s not the cheapest way of buying sanitary items but it’s very convenient.
