HOW TO STAY HAPPY WITH YOUR BLOG

A common problem bloggers can face is feeling like they’re stuck in a rut or unhappy with their blog. I’ve been there are here are some tips that I’ve found super helpful over the past 18 months.

- Create content you love
- Change it up
- Reply to your comments
- Get excited about your little place on the web
- And embrace what you already have
- Take inspiration from everywhere
- Engage with your readers
- Do the unexpected
- Plan ahead
- And have a few posts up your sleeve just in case
- Don’t obsess over statistics on Blogger, WordPress or Google Analytics
- Or your social media follower content
- Stay authentic
- Write lists and get organised
- Don’t be hard on yourself
- Or compare yourself to others who may be five years ahead of you
- Instead be supportive and share the love amongst the community
- Stay positive and enjoy it

Not to force out posts. If I’m not inspired or if I’m creating sub par content that I’m not happy with then I just won’t post. I’d rather not post for an entire week than post something I’m not fully invested in.

I love these sorts of posts! It’s so important to keep a list when you get ideas, so you can go back to it when you feel in a rut.

I’m glad it helps Brit! I know it can be tough at times but if you love what you’re doing nothing else matters :) x

This is a good encouraging post! When I’m feeling less than happy I just try to focus on what made me start blogging in the first place-my passion to travel and share and to improve my design/photography skills. It seems to work so far!

That’s such a good way to bring yourself up isn’t it? I always look back at where I started when I’m frustrated with growth etc. xx

Great tips! I’ve just started to plan ahead, make lists and get organised. I want to blog more frequently, so making a list of the topics I want to cover really helps!

It definitely does. I’m still a bit rubbish at having everything ‘ready to go’ but it’s alot easier on you if you have a list and plan to begin with :) x
