THIS WEEKS MORE THAN ADORED #16

Another week down and we’re getting closer and closer to Christmas - YAY! Here are some products I’ve been aboustely loving that you definitely need to try out.

I’m having a terrible time with my skin at the moment. The combination of leaving a deep cleansing mask on too long and my crazy hormones has left me with some really sore under the skin pimples on my cheek. The La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo, which I know I mention all the time, has really been helping keep it under control and not worsen. This is a product I rely heavily on when my skin is at it’s worse so I highly recommend it. The Foreo LUNA Cleansing Device is another skincare must-have for me at the moment. I’m going to do a full comparison against the Clarasonic soon but in short, if I could go back I would’ve purchased this over the Clarasonic. It works exactly the same but I prefer the silicone bristles and how there is no upkeep costs.

For make up I’ve been all about the new Rimmel Lasting Perfection Foundation. It has the most gorgeous finish and the coverage is a generous medium. I do find this transfers towards the end of the day as my oil starts to break through so I’m still playing around with the best setting powders to use with it. On my cheeks I’ve been loving the contour shade from the Napelon Perdis Ultimate Contour Kit and I would highly recommend it for anyone for is looking for a good natural contour shade. If you have just gotten into make up please buy this! It’s amazing. I’ve been pairing that with The Balm Cindy Lou Manizer for a shimmery blush shade and I love it.

Now onto the two rave products of the moment and the first is the gorgeous Go-to Lips Super Balm. I was sure I wasn’t going to like it when I felt the texture but it’s so hydrating and just as good as my Lanolips 101 Ointment but slightly lighter which is perfect for summer. Another summer staple for me in the Paul Mitchell Ultimate Wave Cream-Gel - holy crap this stuff has changed my hair life. I put about a 20 cent piece amount throughout the ends of wet hair and it gives me that effortless, beachy, texturised hair with no effort at all. I admit I do have some natural waves to my hair but this just amps it up, defines it and makes it look awesome. I generally have my hair natural with this through it for day 1 and then add some extra waves for day 2 and 3. If there is one hair product you purchase this summer this has to be it!

I have natural waves too, leaning more to curls so they end up frizzy all the time, I have tried numerous products such as this one with mixed results, do you think it would control frizz as well? I’ve been loving my Maybelling Master Precise liner and Benefit They’re Real mascara this week, they stay put even in the pool :)

Oooo that’s a tough one. I don’t think it would because I find it just adds more texture then definition/hold..

It’s a great budget option.. Still haven’t found a way to stop it transferring by the end of the day though.

Great selections of faves, the foundation sounds like something I should try out. Have been humming and harring over Cindy for sometime now, I really like the pink undertones to it.

I’ve been hearing a lot of good reviews about the Rimmel foundation! The coverage is what I’m looking for, but I always struggle to find a proper match in their range so we’ll see. Yes the Effaclar Duo is SUCH a saviour! And the Paul Mitchell product sounds amazing, it certainly shows through your insta pics!

Thanks Sheri! Yes the Rimmel foundation is everywhere atm! It’s not a perfect product but it’s great for the price… I find this one matches me fairly well considering (when I’m pale I mean) x
