THE WEEKLY NOTES

the-weekly-notes-1

You may have noticed Sunday’s are usually quiet on MTA and after seriously considering what type of posts I wanted to do for Sunday I knew it had to be a chatty, laid-back one. Every week I’m going to be sharing a bunch of lifestyle/beauty/fashion things that I think are pretty cool. In my mind it’s like we’re all sitting around in face masks, painting our nails and catching up!

EAT THIS: During the week I posted Lola Berry’s Chia Pudding recipe and let me tell you I now have an unhealthy addiction to this stuff. It’s so sweet because of the maple syrup but absolutely yummy and not sickly sweet! Once you’ve prepared the granola and chia pudding separately you can store them both and just chuck it all together during the week.

READ THIS: My good friend Grace was kind enough to interview me for her new ‘Blogger Spotlight’ feature on her blog. It’s a pretty hefty interview with loads of questions and more behind the scenes talk about blogging and me!

GET INVOLVED HERE: One of my favourite brands Jurlique have launched a #bloomwithjurlique campaign over on Instagram. All you have to do is take a photo of who helped you bloom into the person you are today and use the hashtag. For the 300 posts Jurlique is donating $50 toward Aime Mentoring which is an amazing organisation who help support Indigenous kids though high school and beyond. It’s a campaign I really believe in so I wanted to share it again! It’s super easy to get involved.

TRY THESE: I posted over on Instagram about ‘Lacto-Free’ but they’re essentially a mini tablet that, if you have an intolerance to dairy, you take before consuming lactose and it helps you digest it. I didn’t think these would be as effective as what they they and after testing them for weeks I can 100% recommend them to you guys. I was sent a few samples but have since repurchased a full packet because they’re so handy for when you’re eating out and are unsure on the menu. I don’t think these will ever be something I rely on for every meal but they’ve made eating out with friends easier.

What were some highlights from your week just gone?
