As some of you may know I recently subscribed to Happy Mail which is a monthly subscription from A Beautiful Mess where you receive a selection of cards, prints and other cool things. ABM also just launched ‘Messy Box’ which is essentially a subscription service for all you scrapbook lovers and of course I had to subscribe.
Now I had been wanting to start a photo album for a very long time so this subscription was just the final push that’ll make me get my butt into gear and do it. All up per month I paid about $55 (including shipping) for both the Happy Mail and Messy Box subscription. The cost is different depending on where you are in the world and how long you subscribe for. I am subscribed to both for 12 months which makes them both as affordable as they can be.
This is the very first Messy Box ever so I was excited to see what the ABM team put together. I REALLY avoid the ABM blog or Instagram around the 10th of each month as that’s when everyone is billed so the girls put a little post showcasing what’s coming - I don’t like that. I live for the surprise of the package each month! The first month didn’t disappoint!
We received a selection of three different cards that’ll fit perfectly into your Messy Book (photo album that ABM released… And I purchased) along with some cool washi tape, transparent ‘life is beautiful sheet, gold chipboard letters and some cute embellishments. I’m super in love with the washi tape in particular and cannot wait to use it after a holiday or something like that!
For Happy Mail this month I was again super happy (see what I did there) with the contents. Although I’m not totally in love with all the different designs I can still see myself using them in the future. Like last month it included an A4 print and I’m so excited to frame it and pop it up in the house. A few random bits included a cute shopping list, some stickers and some fluro gift tags. For cards it included 2 traditional cards, 6 single sided cards and 1 postcard.
I love this sort of stuff and I don’t think I’ll get sick of receiving the kit every month for the next 11 months. I thought it was also worth mentioning that I had an AWESOME experience with the customer service. My package didn’t arrive until the 10th of April so at the end of March I was a little concerned but I got in touch, I heard back within two days and although there wasn’t anything that they could do at the time the staff were so lovely and helpful. There is nothing like the peace of mind that comes with great customer service - especially when you’re subscribed for a whole year!
