Cleansing oils are an incredible way to remove make up or just the days dirt and grime before cleansing your face. The oil breaks down everything that’s on the skin in a flash, they never stripped the skin or leave it feeling tight and horrible. Here are our three recommendations of the moment.
CLARINS TOTAL CLEANSING OIL
This is the culprit responsible for my love affair with cleansing oils and if you can’t tell the one I have in my rotation at the moment. It’s a lighter oil that I find I need 2-3 pumps off to cover my whole face and eyes. It does a really effective job at removing your make up leaving your skin feeling really moisturised. I had my reservations about repurchasing this one but it actually is priced really well so I would definitely repurchase this one in the future because I just really enjoy the texture of the product over the other two.
JURLIQUE PURE AGE-DEFYING NOURISHING CLEANSING OIL
A relatively new addition to the Jurlique line is a new cleansing oil that is designed to really help smooth and replenish the skin. I don’t use this as a cleanser, like all cleansing oils in my routine, I use this as a make up remover so I cannot comment on the claims it has smoothing texture and lines. However out of the three this one is the one I adore the way it leaves my skin feeling. I use one pump over my whole face and after rinsing my face feels so soft! It’s a lighter oil so it’s super surprising that it leaves your skin feeling so supple.
THE JOJOBA 100% NATURAL MAKE UP REMOVER
This one came from OneFloor.com.au and I wasn’t sure if I would like it because I thought it was just purely jojoba oil meaning it’d be too thick. There isn’t any doubt that this is a thicker oil compared to the other two but it still does an amazing job and I feel like you use less. Due the thickness this is best used on a cotton pad and swiped over eyes or face. I then take a bit of water and really work it into the skin. It’s a fantastic option for those of you who are wanting to use a 100% natural product.
