In case you didn’t hear Priceline are having their 2 day only 40% cosmetic sale right now! Spooky as it is we had this post planned for today for a few weeks so all these products are currently bargains and must-try’s from the pharmacy. Don’t forget to head to Priceline or shop online before close of business tomorrow to stock up on your faves!

1.Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
Have you heard that this is a dupe of the NARS Creamy Concealer? It’s fairly damn similar and I find myself reaching for this one more because it’s alot easier to work with on an everyday basis. The pigmented product offers amazing coverage on both spots and under the eyes it’s worth buying a lighter shade to highlight with and a skin tone shade to cover spots. Set with a powder this formulation lasts all day without creasing but be warned a little goes a long way! I find it’s best to apply thin layers then a whole lot at the beginning to avoid caking.

2.Maxfactor FaceFinity All Day Primer
Although I wasn’t a huge fan of it in the beginning I now appreciate the simplicity of this primer. It smoothes, hydrates and really does help your foundation apply more flawless onto the skin plus last that little bit better throughout the day. It doesn’t have that silicone feel but provides just enough smoothing over fine lines and pores so you can rely on this gem to provide a really even canvas before foundation application.

3.Essence Silky Touch Blushes
If you’re still unsure or playing around with blush shades these are for you. The Essence Silky Touch Blushes are the perfect balance between just enough pigmentation and not too much sparkle so really a dream for those first time blush newbs. My favourite shade is Adorable (I’ve been through 3!) but at under $6 a pop you can’t really go wrong!

4.Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipstick
We all asked for more affordable matte lipsticks and it seems the beauty brands have listened… Or they just predicted the trend six months ago. Regardless the new Creamy Matte range from Maybelline is incredible! Ravishing Rose is my shade pick although the line boasts reds, purples and even a nude so there is something for everyone. Super easy to blend over the lips, comfy to wear throughout the day and gorgeous shades – such  winning line (swatches of all colours coming later this month!)

5.Maybelline Hyper Sharp Winged Liquid Liner
When the newbie from Maybelline released last year I was excited after not loving their other liquid liner line up. The unique brush boasts a difference in thickness when turned on an angel making it easy for drawing precise lines and then thickening up. A super black formulation and the longevity of the products makes it one of the leading liquid liners available at the pharmacy.

6. Essence Lip Liners
I first tried these lipliners years ago and the only negative is the fact you have to sharpen them. At the low RRP of $2 a pop you can’t complain too much considering the ace, creamy formulation that makes any lipstick last right throughout the day. My shade pick is Cute Pink but I own, use and love every single shade.

7. Maxfactor Velvet Volume Mascara
The latest addition to the Maxfactor mascara line up has won my heart which wouldn’t be a huge surprise to long-time MTA readers because Maxfactor has a special spot in my heart. With a trendy ‘mousse’ formulation the consistency of this mascara is one to get used too. It almost feels dry when you open the packaging but once in use the plastic bristle brush deposits a generous amount of product. It gives volume and extra black appearance to the lashes just the way I like it.

8. Maxfactor Creme Puff Blush
You may have noticed these are the blushes I haven’t stopped raving about since I got my hands on them. If you’re a fan of the Hourglass Ambient Lightening range, or drool over it frequently these blushes are ones you must try. The offers a bit of glow, shimmer and colour without being ‘too much’ meaning you’re left with a radiant look to the cheeks rather than a glittery one.

9. Rimmel Magnifi’Eyes Double Ended Shadow & Liner
A double ended product is something most would roll their eyes out but just how purse-friendly and handy these type of products are is incredible.. Stay tuned for a feature on day-to-night make up. Both ends are creamy, super pigmented and once dried down do not budge at all!

10.L’oreal Brow Artist Plumper
The only brow gel I use and one you all must try at least once. Magical. Buy it.

11. Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation
There is already a full review up on this bad boy here (still one of my favourite progressive reviews to date) and it’s a great super affordable foundation. Check out the review for all the details.

The Priceline sales always seem to creep up when I am running out of products and they have been popping up more frequently lately! I haven’t managed to have a shop yet (boo full time work) but this post has definitely helped with what I plan to buy. I love Maxfactor mascaras and this one sounds like something right down my alley (hopefully they are not sold out by now!) and I will definitely pick up the Maybelline concealer, I have been having a love hate relationship with my NARS one at the moment xx

I went to the sale today and just grabbed a few things and thought I was good. Now being at home and seeing everyone’s posts from their purchases today I’ve convinced myself to go back for a browse again tomorrow….. lol

I just picked up a few nail polishes and restocked on some powder (Bourjois Healthy Mix & Rimmel Stay Matte) in the sale, I was going to pick up the Maybelline Hypersharp Liquid Liner because I quite like that as well and mine is drying out but it was already sold out. I love that Max Factor primer though, I’ve still got more than half of my bottle left though so I didn’t think I’d need to repurchase it just yet, but it’s one of my favourite drugstore products for sure. And those Maybelline mate lipsticks are great too!
