L’OREAL PARIS INFALLIBLE MATTE FX LIP COLOUR SWATCHES AND REVIEW

When these L’oreal Infallible FX Lip Colours turned up on the desk I was a little confused… It looked like a weird eyeshadow applicator but was a make lipstick – say WHAT?! Never fear these scary looking lipsticks have a very valid place in very beauty lovers collection.

The micro-collection boats six shades ranging from a lighter nude to a purple shade but don’t let the colour on the packaging fool you. The colour on the packaging although it does technically correpond the colours inside they do apply much more sheer giving the lips a light wash of colour. The applicator is a strange concept and maybe the first I’ve seen in the pharmacy like it however it really does feel lovely to apply against the lips. If the lip colours were extremely bold then the applicator wouldn’t work because it can be hard to get a crisp line around the lip line however given the more sheer formulation it works well.

All the lip colours are very matte and last on the lips well throughout the day. If reapplying is needed these are easy enough to whipped out and apply without a mirror. Overall if you’re after an everyday matte lip colour that’ll give you a bit of a wash of colour without being too intense these are for you. If you’re after a bold matte lip colour then perhaps trying a liquid lipstick is more your thing. I applaud L’oreal for the innovative product and it’s great to see a really unique, different lip product now in the pharmacy!
