Another season, another Essie collection and this Summer you can expect gorgeous brights from the popular nail brand. The collection is inspired by endless summer fun and I have to say it’s got me very excited!

As usual the limited edition collection contains six shades and the range of shades is bright which is perfect for summer. There is a white shade with silver micro-glitter, slightly difficult to apply evenly but once on an interesting shade. It’s not a must-have from the collection and the weaker colour formulation wise from the six options. ‘Chillato’ is another colour I’m not 100% on but admittedly I haven’t yet dared to try it on my nails. It’s like a fluorescent milky pale yellowy/green. I don’t know whether I appreciate it’s point of difference or really not like it… Only time will tell!

Some brighter shades I love are the peach ‘peach side babe’ and ‘sunset sneaks’ which is that gorgeous darker colour shade – amazing and both so summer. You guys know how in love I am with blue nails and ‘saltwater happy’ is like the cream version of ‘bikini-y so teeny’ and then ‘pert-a-surfer’ is a deeper vibrant blue. All four of these shades are cream formulations and dreamy to work with.

Sunset Sneaks looks like the perfect girly summer colour! I’ve definitely got my eye on it as I’m a sucker for cute pink nail polish :^)

It’s so so so nice! I just took it off my nails after wearing it for for the past 2 weeks (I reapplied once obvs) :) xx

This collection is goooorgeous! I actually sneakily bought Chillato when they were on sale at Priceline. I don’t know but I sorta love it haha! I haven’t worn it yet either, but I think it’s a really unique, cool shade. I like that it’s not a typical blue-mint, but it’s along the same lines?

It’s a weird colour though isn’t it? I haven’t applied it yet! It’s the next colour I’m going to try.

I’m not really into Essie polishes. I have a few of them but I find them really runny! I’m also into more neutral shades than bright colours, the only one I like the look of is that peachy shade. Very pretty , but I’m still not sold on the formula of these polishes!

I had my eye on several of these, but in the end I’ve only bought Saltwater Happy as that’s the only one that has consistently good reviews. I haven’t worn it yet, but I have swatched it and it was a dream to work with.
