Racinne is a brand I’ve loved for about twelve months but haven’t spoken about tooooo much because it’s only been available to order online. Now Racinne has launched into My Chemist Warehouse in Parramatta so it’s a bit more accessible to Sydney-siders and hopefully will extended into other branches soon! Here is a round up on the products I’ve been loving from the Ultimate Hydra Perfection as well as a sneaky giveaway!
We’ll start at the start with the Gentle Cleansing Foam and honestly, it’s probably my ‘flop’ from the range. I found it a little stripping and it left a weird residue on the skin but I can happily say that this is the only product I would recommend avoiding (and let’s be honest every range has a dud!). On the opposite end of the spectrum my absolute favourite product from the range is the Optimal Fortifying Emulsion and it’s one I think everybody should look into. It’s essentially a serum you apply after cleansing and it gives you an extra boost. If you’ve tried Indeed Labs Hydraluron it’s similar to that but on steroids and way more effective. It gives the skin a serious hydration boost without a heavy layer of moisturiser! I like teaming that with the Advanced Luminous Gel for the a great moisturising dream team. They’re both light but really hydrate the skin. The other moisturiser from the range is the Ultimate Defence Illuminating Cream which in the past I’ve used the whole tub of and really enjoyed. It’s a cream that is very light but again, extremely hydrating and it sinks into the skin instantly. I don’t like the tub packaging for either moisturisers but I can live with crappy packaging if the product inside is worth it.
Onto some treatment products and the Gentle Refining Scrub Mask is a fantastic mask for the winter months. I’ve been using this once a week on clean dry skin then buffing it away with a muslin cloth. Somehow it’s both hydrating and also exfoliating! It’s a weird process to go through but the way it leaves your skin feeling it’s definitely worth it! For eye treatments I really enjoy the Ultimate Aqua Blanc Eye Care which is from their brightening range. The formulation is light, brightening and works perfectly under make up for a base. I haven’t tried the one from the Hydra Range but that’s included in the giveaway for you guys! If it’s as good as the Aqua Blanc offering I know you’ll love it.
Overall this range is a fantastic one for hydrating the skin without it being heavy which is refreshing from the thick creams that generally are associated with moisturising the skin!
