Can you believe that June is coming to an end this week? I feel as though I’ve blinked a missed a whole two months! Here are some absolute gems to check out over the weekend. I hope you all have a good one!

There has been much hype around the new Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation in the Youtube and blogosphere the past few months which made me skeptical to try but I’m happy to report it’s a decent offering from Covergirl for combination/oily skins. It gives your skin a good medium coverage without looking heavy on the skin and will last most of the day without turning into an oily mess. It’s definitely not one for anyone with dry skin though, I found this clings to dry patches like crazy! Would you guys like to see a progressive foundation review like what I did with the Clarins Everlasting Foundation? Let me know because I’d be happy to do that. I’m still really enjoy gel eyeliners and the Rimmel Gel Eyeliner in 001 Black is the one I’ve been using. It does dry out fairly fast in the pot but I appreciate the long-lasting formulation and it’s SUPER black. The way it’s dried up though really bothers me because it makes it a pain to get onto the brush – does anyone have an awesome gel eyeliner recommendation?

For skincare I feel as though my whole routine has been changing over the past few weeks due to either finishing up products or not being satisfied with what I’m using. My day moisturiser is one of the things I REALLY haven’t been happy with so I’ve been using the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate because Katina speaks so highly of it. You may notice it’s actually a night moisturiser however I’m living life on the edge by using it under my make up – crazy I know. But in all seriousness I feel as though I need an extra bit of hydration now we’re well into the winter months and this seems to be working well. If you’re after a really boost without using a thick cream this is an awesome option. I’m currently floating around eye creams for the morning time as well and the Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector has really filled the void being my consistent choice since landing on my desk. It is a bit of a 2-in-1 because it skin-tonned so you get extra brightening and concealing whilst giving the area lots of hydration as well. If you don’t have any crazy dark circles under your eyes I think you could just get away with applying just this like I do however if you it’s still light enough for layering a concealer on top.

My brush collection is slowly thinning out as brushes become manky and need throwing out but my Furless Brushes have been lasting amazingly! This Furless PPF1 Brush I’ve had for almost two years and it’s lasted really well through washing and use. If you haven’t check out Furless Brushes please do – they’re an amazing Australian company that do vegan friendly brushes for an affordable price.

I feel that when it comes to the Covergirl Foundation clinging to dry patches, you should have seen my chin last night at work, not pretty! Other than that though (which was caused by two under the skin pimples) I love the Foundation, one of my favourites.

The Covergirl foundation sounds great! The Rimmel liner seems good as well but it’s a shame it dries out quickly! I just started using the Mary Kay gel liner and am really liking it!

I love the Night Concentrate! The whole Hydro Boost line is really lovely and I’m definitely a fan. I’d recommend the Maybelline EyeStudio Lasting Drama Gel Pot Liner, it’s been a staple of mine as it works so well and is inexpensive too! x

I’m new to the gel liner world, and I picked up the Rimmle one for halloween this year. I’m so glad I did it’s amazing it stays put doesn’t move. It’s great for beginners its a very forgiving product, it’s also in a great price range.

Love the look of the Furless brush but I really don’t need more brushes haha. Thanks for the heads up about the Covergirl foundation, will be giving it a miss. And I love gel liner! I would recommend the essence one but… ya know :((
