3 AFFORDABLE EYESHADOW FORMULATIONS TO TRY

Affordable eyeshadows that are really great to work with are a little hard to come by especially at an affordable price. I thought I’d round up 3 of my favourite formulations that can be found at the pharmacy.

Red Earth Baked Eyeshadows
Red Earth isn’t a brand I hear too many talk about but I absolutely love their products. The baked eyeshadows are something that give the eye something a little unique and how customisable the shades are in the pan is always a plus. They’re shimmery and just gorgeous to work with. I would probably recommend the shimmers off the matte finish just because the mattes are a little powdery and chalky which personally I just don’t have time for.. The brand has recently released a larger palette that I’m keen to get my hands on too!

L’oreal Paris Colour Riche Single Eyeshadows
If you’re looking for a great mix of matte and shimmer shades L’oreal have such an extensive range of shadows that are constantly changing. The formulation is soft, buttery and easy to blend but be careful because they can crumble very easily. This also means you can get a little bit of fallout on your cheeks so always tap off your brush before applying and you’ll be good to go.

Maxfactor Wild Pot Shadows
I know alot of people don’t like these but I absolutely love them! The colours are exactly what I wear from day to day and the formulation is light, shimmery and blendable. Not the best range of colour but adequate for the affordability. I would recommend depotting them if you can because the packaging isn’t amazing and I’ve smashed a few of the screw lids in my time but otherwise a fantastic products and probably my most used from the list.
