HEY! I hope you guys had a good week. I’ve had a pretty cruise-y week so far (writing this Thursday) and the weekend is going to be spent doing nothing at all apart from working my other job Saturday. I can’t wait!
So it’s been a few weeks since my last weekly notes and I’ve been a little quiet because this whole planning a wedding, running the website and working my other job 3-4 days a week PLUS trying to keep up some kind of a social life… Well this shit is hard. I think what I’ve learnt over the past few months is that taking mental health days, looking after yourself and listening to your body when you’re worn out is so important. It feels pretty great to be able to recognise a certain emotional and be able to know how you best react/deal with it. Does that make any sense? I digress. While we’re taking about weddings I wanted to check if you peeps wanted to see a wedding series? We’ve booked SO much over the past few weeks (bye bye money) and if I’m going to write a series for next year I’d do it in real time then release it after our wedding date. The type of wedding we’re having is fairly unique and I think it’d be cool to share. I feel like I’ve asked you this before but I’ll go off the comments on this post so let me know :)
As you guys may know we joined a gym back in February this year and I can’t believe I’m saying this but I really enjoy going. Of course I’m not the fittest or the most knowledgable person that goes in but I like getting up and starting my day being active. I’m okay with the fact I’m not the best at it and that the people there are way more advanced then me. In the beginning I thought that was going to be something that really bugged me but it doesn’t! If you’re scared of the gym please don’t be and never feel like because you’re paying for your membership you HAVE to go everyday. Fit it around your life and lifestyle - I only go 2-3 times a week.
I hate the word ‘dieting’ because I believe it’s all about the lifestyle we, as individuals, choose to lead. HOWEVER given the fact I’m vegetarian and also can’t eat dairy or gluten I have enforced help to get my eating on track. A bit of a back story is that I always feel as though I have to eat more as a vegetarian and I find it hard to know what foods to eat to fuel my body but also help me tone up. One of my main goals is to change my mindset regarding quantity with food and learn how to create meals that nutrition without overeating. Anyway I’m going to keep you guys posted because the lady I’ve found is accessible to everyone and if it goes well I’d love to recommend her to you guys. I’m excited to learn from her!
What are you guys up to over the weekend?
