Welcome to our latest series to launch on MTA! Everyday style dairies will be showcasing our current fave outfits and pieces to get the look. Expect realistic, real girl talk and some uber affordable pieces mixed in with some more expensive treat yo’ self bits.
These photos were a bit of an experience with the blind leading the blind. I’m usually the behind the camera not in front of it!!! And well Isaac is usually watching on not driving the camera so the lighting is a little bit dodgy and my facial expressions scream holy-shit-this-hard-I’m-REALLY-concentrating but we will get better so please be forgiving and kind! Personally I think Isaac did a pretty good job for his first time directing me and snapping them as well.
The piece I was most excited to share was the ‘Sanctuary Anorak’ Jacket from St Frock. I’ve never owned a super relaxed fitting jacket and I really appreciate the way it drapes over my figure but the ties around the waist allow you to create a little more shape as well. When I first received it I was a little scared it’d look like a tent on me but I’m in love with it. I teamed it with a striped midi dress that is a little more fitted and they work perfectly together.
My new Rebecca Minkoff bag I received as a gift from a friend is literally the love of my life. I love how it looks both on my arm as well as on the shoulder. It’s a structured bag but the texture and loads of silver hardware give it a little edge. My bestie couldn’t’ve picked a better bag for me. I finished the look with my favourite booties and hat. The booties I’m still breaking in but how insanely cool is that heel?! LOVE.
