Welcome to the December special of weekly round ups from my Instagram daily OOTD’s. I really hope you guys are loving them over on Instagram because fuck it’s so much work!!!! But we are really enjoying it. Here is a round up on what I’ve been wearing this week.
Thursday 1st December
This is generally my uniform for working at home – comfy tee and cotton shorts so throughout the month you will definitely see a theme! These shorts are actually similar to some Camilla & Marc ones I almost bought a few weeks ago but they’re a fraction of the price at $49 so I’m glad I held out because I wasn’t sure if the cut was flattering and I actually like these better – win! My Quay My Girl Sunglasses have seen better days they’re now so loose they never sit straight but don’t worry I have ordered a bunch of new sunglasses so you’ll stop seeing them soon.
Friday 2nd of December
I love teaming a tighter midi skirt with a really loose oversized top! It’s such an easy combo and this is actually an outfit I regularly wear to my day job (in retail). My new sunglasses arrived and I may or may not have some more on the way. I feel like this warmer weather has got me excited for summer and I’m keen to play around with some cool sunglasses this season. I found El Roy Sunglasses on Instagram and I’m totally obsessed with their whole range. The quality has surprised me – the three pairs that I bought feel really great so I’m determined to look after these more than my Quay ones. You’ll probably learn two things over the course of this month 1 – I’m a huge casual dresser and 2 – I barely ever do my hair.
What I’m wearing: Nude Lucy Joanna Oversized Muscle Tank (I’m wearing size M) | Denim Midi Skirt (not current similar here) | Birkenstock Arizona Sandals | Betts Ryder Tote Bag | Elroy Cairo Clear Sunglasses
Saturday 3rd December
There is something about stripes am I right? On Saturday my day at the shop was HUGE so I’m pretty glad I kept things really simple and casual. I usually drift between making an effort for work and going really basic as I’m sure you’ll see over the month ha! The material on this Camilla & Marc Baxter Dress is divine and I’m slowly starting to invest in basics like this that will last the test of time.
What I’m wearing: Camilla & Marc Baxter Dress | Lack Of Colour Fedora (not current – similar here) | Sportsgirl Tote (not current – similar here) | Saltwater Sandal Slides in Tan | Elroy Eyewear Harper Sunglasses in Mauve | Uncle Jack Watch
Sunday 4th December
Oh my gosh this was the biggest working day I’ve had in terms of blog work in a very long time. We took a tonne of photos and I couldn’t believe the amount of work we smashed out in the 36 degree heat! You (obviously) will see those editorial shots soon and I’ll be cheating so I get a few days off the daily snaps by including them in these round ups too (#sorrynotsorry). Instead of rushing home to edit I decided to be totally honest – I was exhausted and just could not be bothered SO here is a snap of me in my work out gear :P
Monday 5th December
I had an RDO and by that I mean ISAAC had one so I naturally decided to have one. I feel weird taking days off but I’ve been working so very hard lately I decided that I should have a break from everything I’ve been doing. We headed out for lunch and then back home for some much needed down time. This Camilla & Marc Montana Stitch Shirt is absolutely everything. It has cold shoulder detailing, an asymmetrical buttons that are also hidden as well as fraying on the collar! It’s an investment but the attention to detail warrants the price.
What I’m wearing: Camilla & Marc Montana Stitch Shirt (size 6 but an oversized fit) | 66 The Label NYX Hat | My Girl Sunglasses | One Teaspoon Bandit Shorts (size 28 – small fit) | Senso Rileys (not current – plain black here)
Tuesday 6th of December
SO this was one of the outfits we shot over the weekend that I was talking about including so I got a day off daily shooting but it’s funny because it was freezing so I actually ended up wearing this ha! One thing I will say about this daily upload thing is that I have alot of inspiration for outfits that is for sure. I’m a huge fan of midi dresses and although it can take a little while to find ‘the one’ they are so versatile once you have one you love. Have a peep at the article I wrote about them here.
What I’m wearing: Nude Lucy Midi dress (size XS but a large fit and I also couldn’t find link but view current range here) | Uncle Jack Watch | H&M Bag (not current) | My Girl Sunglasses | Solsana Melody Boots | Topshop Moto Jacket (not current- similar one here) | Lack Of Colour Fedora (not current – similar here)
Wednesday 7th of December
I’ve never been a huge dress gal but I don’t mind certain silhouettes I can grunge up and make look a little edger. The Ellen Black Floral Dress is such a flattering cut with a tie waist so it pulls you in at your smallest spot. I also really love the slight bell sleeves and neckline that is low but not to low meaning I can wear this to work without feeling self conscious – win!
SHOP THE ITEMS
Phew! I hope you guys enjoyed this week of outfits! There will be another two before Christmas on a Thursday and possibly one last one afterwards if I feel like working after Christmas. Please leave any feedback in the comments as it’s my first kind of post like this and I would really appreciate it!
