Feeling like a girl boss or a strong independent woman isn’t always easy as it sounds. I’m a big believer in dressing to how you feel and your clothes making a big outfit on your confidence.
It’s not secret around here that growing up I was a massive tom boy. I wouldn’t say my Mum is overly feminine and my brother was only 12 month older so I wasn’t really ever a super girly girl. I don’t think there are any photos of me wearing pink or tutus and that really has translated into my wardrobe now. Sure I’m not afraid of wearing a bit of floral or dresses (or even pink) but I’m not glitzy and I like a bit of edge about my outfits.
This outfit was one I styled because you guys know day-to-day I’m pretty casual. Neither of my jobs call for a super glam outfit so I’m able to wear converse and jeans if I like. Recently I realised there was a gap in my wardrobe for those times when I have meetings with potential clients and I want to feel like ‘fuck yes I can do this’. When I spotted these Third Form Pull Through Pant on Carousell I decided to buy them ($249 down to $50 with shipping… I mean no brainer right) because culottes are so flattering no matter how you’re feelings.
I’ve teamed it with my Hendricks Shirt that is super lightweight so it can be tucked in or worn out. I always tuck the front and leave the back out… I know some people think that’s a bit cringe but I like how it adds a chilled vibe to the outfit. The rest of my accessories are super basic because I never got over the top and then of course a powerful bright lip which is a Designer Brands one that I really love called Kiss N Tell.
What I’m wearing: Third Form Pull Through Pant (size M) | Hendricks Shirt (size 8, gifted) | Camilla & Marc Clutch | Raen Metal Detail Sunglasses | Sportsgirl earrings (not current) | Kiss N Tell Lipstick
