5 OUTFITS I WORE IN JULY

As you guys know last December I did a daily outfit challenge that really kick started my love for sharing my style with you guys. During that month I shared weekly outfit round ups on the blog and absolutely love it BUT it was so much work!!

Now my blog schedule is a little more mellow I wanted to incorporate that type of post back into the blog somehow so inspired by the lovely Rachel from Rachel Beauty Style I decided to do it as a monthly series and share some outfits from what I’ve been wearing this month.

The Quest Skirt (size L but I could fit the size M too) | Lucas Knit (size S, gifted) | Scholl Light Legs in 60 Denier (M, gifted) | Melody Boots | Tote Bag (similar linked) | Pink Round Sunglasses (similar linked) | Lack Of Colour Fedora | Uncle Jack Watch

When I first spotted this skirt online I loved it however I wasn’t sure on the sizing. As with most things I forgot about it and then when I was browsing in Monalisa there it was. Khaki has a special place in my heart always so with the 20% discount they had at the time I handed over my card. I have to say I’m more excited about styling it with white slogan tees, bare legs and converse but in the dead of winter that just isn’t practical so instead I’ve teamed it with the snuggly Lucas Knit I’ve been wearing all. the. time.

Wax Look Jeans (size 8, gifted) | IDS denim shirt (size 8, gifted) |  Lack Of Colour Fedora | Harper Sunglasses (only in black) | ghd curve | Designer Brands Lipstick | Sol sana Melody Boots | Cool Badged Bag

A few years ago I owned a pair of wax jeans I wore ever single day. I don’t even know what happened to them but now I have these I almost feel a tad disappointed that I haven’t had a pair for a few years! They are so comfy but make you look like you are all dressed up. People always say that you shouldn’t team black and blue together but I personally disagree. I think that the denim shirt looks epic like this!

Briggs Pullover (size 8, gifted) | Amy Mesh Top (size 8, gifted) | Wax Look Jeans (size 8, gifted) |   Lack Of Colour Fedora | Designer Brands Lipstick  | Top End O’Neil Boots (gifted) | Rae Round Sunglasses

I have a feeling that this was one of – if not – the most liked photo on my Instagram this month! You guys went bananas for the whole black outfit and I don’t blame you. I’m obsessed with this layered look of different textures. There is just nothing more sleek and almost sexy about wearing an all black ensemble! When I put on my story which sunglasses to keep most of you guys said to keep these Raen ones and I’m SO glad I did. I love the round shape!

Nobody Denim Cult Skinny Jeans (size 26) | Motel Nude Biker Jacket (size 10, gifted) | Bitter Sweet Black Floral Dress (size 8, gifted) | Raen Gradient SunglassesCross body Bag | Lack Of Colour Fedora

This floral number is meant to be a dress but it’s slightly too short for me (I have a long body and I’m wearing the 8) so instead I’ve been wearing it as a smock top. I REALLY love the way it looks especially teamed with leather jackets. Speaking of leather jackets I’ve been on the hunt for a different coloured biker jacket and this one really spoke too me. The combination of the biker details on the arms and the neutral colour is just the best!

Wax Look Jeans (size 8, gifted) | Jade Leopard Print Shirt (size 8, gifted) |Sol sana Melody Boots | Rae Round Sunglasses

Honestly the wax jeans have just been my go-to pants when I want to look a little bit more dressy but nothing crazy enough to wear a dress. The leopard shirt has also just been the best. I’m a shirt addict and I love the blue running through this. It’s a super simple outfit I wore out to dinner but I’m a huge fan of less is more sometimes!

Let me know what you guys thought of this post! I really loved putting it together and I’m already planning next months so I’ll probably keep doing it for now unless you guys say otherwise.

What is your fave outfit I wore this month?

  • I love the 2nd outfit & the last outfit! Could totally see myself rocking both those outfits. I LOVE those wax look jeans & have wanted a pair like them for a while but haven’t found any that flattered my curvy lower half. I’m not surprised you love them, they look great on you!

    • Thanks Shell! These are super stretchy and accommodate for the booty which makes me happy haha x

  • Its so much easier to do a monthly round up! But honestly, I don’t understand how you do so many fashion blog posts?! I know its such an effort but you make it looks so easy and glamorous! Also, love your blog layout for the roundup x

    • No way is it glamorous or easy haha! It’s sooo much effort it’s ridic but I’m loving it :)

  • I love the jumper in that first outfit. It’s so much more fun wearing a jumper with frills and ruffles on it and makes me feel a lot less frumpy because it’s still really cute while being warm and cosy. And that third outfit is SO scandi! I can see why it got such a good reaction over on Insta. :)
