I wasn’t sure I was even going to get this blog post together because I’ve been in a funk with blogging and Instagram this month. I know in October I will find my feet again however it has been a tad tough to get motivated!
When we first spotted the sun at the start of the month I may have got a bit excited and pulled out this Starstruck Chambray Dress that I’ve had sitting on my rack patiently awaiting a warmer day. It’s funny because I FROZE but it was worth it because look how cute this dress is. I absolutely love the way it is high low with ruffles but still doesn’t feel over the top and pairing it back with all black accessories gave it that extra edge I like.
As always I feel way more comfortable in something that has legs so this playsuit is perfect for the warmer weather. I’ve started to go through my clothes I have in storage and interestingly enough I didn’t own that many summer dresses but instead I have a tonne of playsuits! I really love the tie detail because it gives a little shape but it isn’t really high on the waist so you don’t get the food baby if you’re eating out…. You guys know what I’m talking about. I love layer Brogan Kate Intimates Bralettes under clothes that have a deeper v for some added interest.
What I’m wearing: Monaco Stripey Playsuit (gifted, size S/M) | Statement Bag | Round Sunglasses (not current, similar linked) | Open Toe Booties (not current, similar linked) | Brogan Kate Intimates Bralette | Lack Of Colour Fedora
If there was an outfit inspired by the 90’s it is this one. The jeans are some cotton on ones I’ve fallen in love with although after ordering another 2 pairs in this style and never receiving them in the mail AND the customer service being AWFUL I would recommend only shopping instore. I’m yet to receive my parcel I ordered at the beginning of September and they have been little to no help. They are a fantastic fit on jeans and I love the way they look with the velvet tee!
I know I’ve already showed you guys this outfit in a blog post earlier this month BUT I have just been getting SO much wear out of the skirt in particular. Last summer I was all about playsuits but I have a feeling this season will be the summer of the skirt. I absolutely love the fit and how it sits slightly highly on the body. I’m also loving the size of the bag! It fits my full size wallet in there which is saying something for a cross body bag!
What I’m wearing: Lack of Colour Fedora | The End Tee (size M, gifted) | Denim Skirt (size 10, gifted) | UO Lola Bag (gifted) | Plain Jane Leopard Earrings (gifted) | Elroy Sunglasses | Thrifted Shoes
