3 AFFORDABLE MICELLAR SOLUTIONS TO TRY

Micellar waters are a godsend. Whether it be removing face make up or refreshing the skin in the morning they’re quick, no fuss products! Here are 3 awesome budget-friendly options you have to check out.

1. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
This was one of the first budget-friendly options to release in Australia and there was a bit of hype surrounding it for a while there. It’s 400mL so the biggest of the three I’ll be talking about today which makes it the most cost-effective too. This is the one I’ve had the most experience with and have repurchased. It isn’t completely non-scented but it doesn’t leave a residue on the skin and takes a comparable time to higher end options to dry down on the skin.

2. Simple Micellar Cleansing Water
Simple did a huge marketing compaign alongside the release of this in Australia so chances are you knew about the launch. The brand is popular for it’s gentle products and this is just another great addition to the line. This one has a fresh scent and funnily enough the most ingredients from the bunch. Regardless it does a great job at removing make up however the downside to this particular formulation is I find that I have to use more to get the same result.

3. L’oreal Paris Skin Perfection 3-in-1 Micellar Cleansing Water
Now Garnier and L’oreal are both owned by the same people (L’oreal) so it didn’t surprise me when I read that these both contain exactly the same ingredients. Now I can’t be sure but I’m almost certain these are identical products as I have the same feelings towards this as the Garnier offering. My advice? Buy the Garnier! You get more and for less $$$

  • I haven’t tried any of these! Bioderma’s a solid win for micellar waters if you carry that in Aus?

  • I just bought my first micellar water product and it’s from Sukin. It’s not too bad although I’m not sure what to expect as I haven’t anything like it before.

I think Garnier works just as well as Bioderma and a fraction of the price :) I haven’t tried LÓreal or Simple either, but sounds like Garnier is still a winner!
