There is something really luxe about a new handbag whether it’s a designer one or not you just feel like a boss lady carrying around something new and shiny. I hadn’t had a new bag for a long time despite talking about investing in a good quality one for ages. My bestie Bonnie surprised me with this gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff Mini Perry Satchel and I’m so in love! A few of you wanted to see a write up on the bag so here are my thoughts on it so far.

When I first opened the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Perry Satchel my first thought was ‘god it’s small’ but once I unwrapped everything and looked at it properly I realised it’s actually quite roomy because of the structure of the bag. It has 3 different pockets; one large main compartment with a zip then two slip pockets that have expandable sides. The lining is black and white which peeps out if you have the bag open slightly with silver hardware – so exactly what I like!  The textured leather is another characteristic I love because it means it disguises any scratches that may appear on the bag over time.

Some negatives about Rebecca Minkoff Mini Perry Satchel is the tab accessory that comes attached has some metal hardware which has already rubbed against the leather scratching it when I’ve worn it on my shoulder. That was quite annoying to realise that a part of the bag was damaging it but it was removable so the problem is easily fixed. I’ll probably pop it back onto another one of the handles that doesn’t sit right up against my body… I just wish I noticed it sooner! It’s really not that big of a deal but you know, you get something nice and you want it to look perfect forever!

The structured shape of the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Perry Satchel is a really appreciated change for me because I’ve been carrying around a slouchy black bag for the past few years. It’s quite a smart bag but can also be worn on the weekend without looking out of place. You can wear it on the nook of your arm or, across the body or just on one shoulder with the long strap quite comfortable. The strap is adjustable so you’re able to customise the length making it sit perfectly against the body.

This bag is gorgeous! It’s like Givenchy’s Antigona but using Louis Vuitton’s epi leather. What a stunning combination. <3
