I’ve always been a fan of a midi dress. The way they cover everything up and still offer ultimate comfort means I can look like I’ve got my shit together without to much effort. Here are some reasons why you should consider purchasing a midi dress.

1. They are ridiculously comfy
The one I’m wearing is from Nude Lucy and it’s legit the most comfortable dress I’ve ever worn. It’s really stretchy and allows movement whilst still hugging the figure which is really flattering. Sometimes I find tighter dresses a little more flattering then a flow-y midi dress because I feel like they can swallow you up if you aren’t careful with the cut. I often wear a midi dress and hoodie around the house because they’re so easy to move in and comfy.

2. Wind doesn’t bother them
There is nothing worse then putting on a mini dress and the wind blowing it up for the whole day. The. Worst. Midi-dresses are a dream because if they do blow up because they’re a bit flow-y you’re probably not going to flash your undies and if you’re wearing a form-fitting one it won’t even move. How good is that?

3. They layer ridiculously well
I find that these are my go-to for the days where it’s chilly but the sun is out because you can chuck a bomber jacket or leather jacket over top and they still look super cute. If you live somewhere where the weather is super up and down *cough* VICTORIA *cough* they’re a must!

I’ve always been a bit scared to try a midi dress, especially the more clingy ones. Love how you’ve styled this one though! xx
