This transitional time of year can be tough when it comes to dressing for the weather (I was freezing on this shoot) but it can also be alot of fun mixing up patterns and colour. I’ve gone with a floral dress with simple accessories and a matching lip. Florals for spring.. Groundbreaking.
The dress is the ‘Coastal Walk Dress in Paradise Print’ from St.Frock who you know I work with a fair bit. Since mentioning the dress casually over on Instagram alot of you have gone over and purchased but pop your email in for a restock and I’m sure it won’t take very long for it to come back in stock. I’m wearing the size 12 and honestly I could’ve gone a 10 because under my arms it is a little loose but I do like the length! I’m one of those people who thinks I’m bigger than I actually am 90% of the time. I digress. The style of this dress is super simple and it could easily be dressed up for a special event or worn casually like I am in these pictures. I love the print and colours despite not being a girly girl it is a nice change for me. It’s super flowy too so you’ll be able to eat as much as you like without worrying about popping out of your dress :P
If you’re anything like me you’re probably wondering about those gorgeous sandals I’m wearing. Sydney Sandal Co is a small Australian business that creates beautiful leather sandals right here in Australia. These are the Balmain Sandals in White. They’re kangaroo leather sandals with a brass buckle which has the company logo stamped on. The quality is impeccable and although I was gifted this pair I’m already wanting more! #shoeaddictproblems… The cut is super flattering because the strap across your toes is on a slight angle meaning you see all your toes. Is that a pet hate of anyone else’s? They were so comfy from first wear and the soles are super soft on the feet unlike other cheaper alternatives. I have a feeling you’re going to see these on my Instagram quite a bit.. A pricey investment but a worthwhile one! Oh and if you’re wondering about sizes they’re very true to size.
For accessories I’m wearing an old Sportgirl bag (similar here)and hat plus Mac Impassioned is on my lips - it matched the pink on the dress perfectly which made me very happy!
