THE WEEKLY NOTES #18 being thankful, awesome sales & finding the perfect bikini

I wasn’t going to write this post, hence why it’s being uploaded on a Monday morning, but I didn’t write one last week and I honestly just wanted to catch up with you guys! How you been?!

 

This past weekend I hit an exciting milestone over on Instagram - a huge 10k followers!!!!!! I shouldn’t even say ‘I’ because really it’s ‘we’ did it! Ever since starting the website I’ve always considered it a community rather then a one dimensional ‘hey look at me’ and I think that’s a kinda nice way to think about things. Anyway but thanks to anyone who has liked, commented, followed the site ANYWHERE it means so much and it’s my favourite thing about what I do!

 

In other news I’m trying to find another bikini but with my size chest (10E for anyone wondering) and waist combination I’m finding it super difficult. Rip Curl have some super cute styles that and I’ve had some luck with them in the past so I’m thinking I’ll give one of them ago. Does anyone else have any recommendations?

    I feel your pain with regards to finding bikinis, I’m at 12e and it’s hard! Especially when companies think halter neck tops will do 😒
    The best bikini shop I’ve found is bikini island and two of the best brands are Baku and isola by Megan gale. The cup sizes are more suitable to the bigger size and they’re comfortable. I can give you a link to my favourite bikini top if you like?

  • OMG OMG I can help I can help! Haha As per Paris, BAKU is GREAT and have a good range for our bigger chests! Also Freya Lingerie have a swimwear line which is also amazing (i bought mine online but some Myer stores stock them)! They’re the only two brands I wear for swimwear! I’m a 10GG at the moment (pregnancy boobies) so I’m going to need a few new ones to get me through the Summer! <3

    Ah congrats on the 10K!! That’s seriously impressive, and well deserved! Speaking as another bigger chested gal, I found some really nice bathers on ASOS last year actually. I’m not sure if they still have them but they used to have a few ranges specifically for those with a bigger cup size, some had underwire to keep everything supported and some didn’t. Good luck! :)

    I love these weekly notes - they’re some of my favourite posts to read! Congratulations on 10K, that’s phenomenal! I think Megan Gale came out with a special line for big booby babes - the only downside is I think it’s a bit on the expensive side! Please share what you end up with - a post with swimwear for different body shapes and price ranges would be awesome coming into summer!

    • Aww thanks lovely! They’re been a bit hard to keep up with since I’ve been working 7 days a week the past month but I love doing them! I will definitely be doing a swimwear post in Jan because it’s always SUCH a struggle xx
