A new product to hit the market, as of Laura Mercier’s Winter 2015 Colour Story ‘Watercolour Clouds’, is the Creme Eyeliner in Canard. Although it is a repromoted product it’s not one I’ve ever tried before. The colour being so rich and beautiful in the pot I just couldn’t wait to test it out.
The creme eye liners from Laura Mercier are ones I feel as though fly under the radar and aren’t as spoken about as those from Bobbi Brown or MAC. On first application I knew that the formulation was one that I needed to try more (I’ve just ordered the black). It’s smooth, pigmented and easy to create a thin line or something a little bit more substantial. There is never never creasing, smudging or bleeding throughout the day.
The colour itself is just beautiful and I think it compliments my hazel eyes well. It’s subtly different which is what I like when trying a different colour on the eyes. The break from the harshness of a black feline flick is very much appreciated! Applied with the incredible Angled Eyeliner Brush I’m able to apply eyeliner fairly effortlessly which is says alot about this brush. If you haven’t tried an angled eyeliner brush you must!
Overall I think that this formulation is definitely one too try especially if you’re looking for a change from black but want something that’s great quality.

That is a lovely shade to go to if black is too much. I don’t really change up my eye makeup much but I try to add more bright colours with eyeshadows. I also have a black gel eyeliner with gold flecks from Napoleon which is a nice change from black.

Yes definitely! I’m obsessed :D
Ahh I’m so glad somebody else has discovered that brush! It took me ages to track it down as it’s forever out of stock at the counters but I literally don’t know how I survived without it! Best liner brush in the world.

The formulation is incredible and the colour is just amazing! It would look amazing on you Tash! x
I love Laura Mercier - they do such great foundation with such a wide range of shades. It’s no surprise that they do a great gel liner too - the formula sounds fantastic. I’m not too good with gel liners or using brushes so I stick to liquid liners but this looks like one to try!
