Sisley Paris is one of those brands I wouldn’t have discovered without running More Than Adored. When these two new releases showed up at the office I was excited and a little apprehensive all at once….
The Phyto Lip Twist in Chestnut is stunning. It’s the perfect mix of brown, mauve and red that works. If you’re looking for a bolder nude that will still be appropriate for work then it’s a good one to consider. The formulation of these is beautiful, pigmented, moisturising but they last really well throughout the day. I would have to say they are possible my favourite formulation of ‘chubby stick’ type product on the market.
Now as for the Phyto 4 Ombres in Dream I’m a little disappointed. The formulation of the shadows isn’t great but workable. They’re very powdery and can apply unevenly. Sure the palette looks stunning and once you take the extra time to blend it onto the eyes the colours are gorgeous and shimmering it does work but I personally wouldn’t pay $50 for a product that isn’t going to be easy to work with. I think the colour combination and shimmer in this palette is just divine but the formulation needs some work.
Overall the lip crayons are a MUST buy/try/swatch in store but I would give the shadows a miss. You can get better shadows from other brands for the same amount of money and be blown away.
