THIS WEEKS MORE THAN ADORED #31

httpmorethanadored.comwp-contentuploads201504this-weeks-mta-30-1

After a cold and a little bit of a slow start to the week I kept things relatively simple when it comes to my face. I’m still recovering from the worst hormonal break-out of all time (exaggeration possible) but here are some fab products to look into over the weekend.

The breakout came, hung around… Then hung around some more and I feel as though it’ll be time again from another break out before I even get rid of this one properly #girlproblems. In conjunction with the breakout I’ve also had dry skin because of the cooler weather so it’s been tricky to balance acne treatments without worsening the dry skin. That’s where the Dermalogica Clear Start Breakout Clearing All Over Toner as been an absolute lifesaver. I’ve used about three of these in the past and when I was sent over a little travel pack I admittedly grabbed this out excited. It’s so effectively without drying out the skin or being really harsh. If you’re having the same trouble I did with the balancing act try replacing your spot treatment with this – trust me!

Some of you may know I had an operation on my face about two weeks ago now and I now have a scar down the side of my face. To help fade the scar quicker I’ve been applying Bio Oil every night. It’s slowly fading and I think it’ll be a long time before it’s completely gone but this is making a difference.

As I said I’ve been keeping this really simple when it comes to make up and the L’oreal Paris Colour Riche Extradordinaire in Rose Melody has been the only lip colour I’ve worn this week. I’ve spoken about it so many times and for good reason – it’s the best everyday colour ever! The Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder is the cult product I put off trying because I thought it was all just hype but ladies this is SO worth the hype. It’s smoothing, brightening and sets all your concealer without looking cakey. Last up the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler. I was waiting on some replacement pads to arrive for this bad boy so I had to use another one and I just confirmed to me that this is the best eyelash curler ever. It’s so easy to use and so effective.

Good luck with the scarring my lovely. It’s so annoying when you have breakouts and dry skin, makes life so bloody difficult!

I wasn’t sure about spending the money but since the price decrease in Aus they’re so much more affordable… Even still they’re so so so worth it! They make such a difference. X

I haven’t tried the Hourglass but I’m definitely going to pick one up when I’m next at Mecca!! They’ve been on my wish list since trying and loving the blushes :) x

Sorry to hear about your scar! :( I find rosehip oil to be really great at fading scars. The Laura Mercier powder sounds amazing and so does the Shu Uemura curler. I can’t bring myself to spend that much on an eyelash curler unfortunately :P

Love rose hip for scarring as well but I thought it’d try something a little more heavy duty because this scar is fairly big :)

The Shu Uemura is expensive isn’t it? Since the price drop it is more reasonable though. I think it’s now about $25?

Bio Oil is a serious life saver. I had a viral infection on my legs way back when I was in high school and Bio Oil really helped fade the tiny scars left behind and now they’re not visible to the untrained eye at all! Hope everything is going well after the op (: xx

That’s such an amazing story and makes me feel so much better about choosing to use Bio Oil over other products!! It’s definitely going well thank you – just need this pesky scar to fade :) x
