This week has been a busy one with loads of new products in the office so stay tuned for lots of exciting features to come. I’ve discovered some gems over the past few weeks and these are the ones you must check out over the weekend.
For make up I’ve been favouring Maybelline the past two weeks after the generous press release we received recently. The new lipstick range I reviewed earlier this week has been heavily in rotation however the Maybelline Colour Sensational Blushing Bud Lipstick is my perfect MLBB shade! It offers an even amount of colour without being OTT for everyday. As it fades I top up with the Burt’s Bees Lip Balm and I just love the easy combination! Definitely a colour worth checking out. Another Maybelline product I can’t get enough of is the gorgeous Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof Mascara. The wand is curved making it very easy to get right up into the lashes and the formulation really holds a curl (which is my main concern). It offers volume, definition and a little length so it’s a great one for those of us who want something a little more dramatic on the lashes. I will say it does clump if you apply too many layers but I find you don’t need loads of layers with this one anyway so it really doesn’t matter.
A few random favourites this week include the De Lorenzo Defence Thermal Spray. I FINALLY finished my Lee Stafford one I’ve been using for years and pulled this one out of the stash to try. I really love the scent and fine spray that evenly coats the hair. As with all thermal sprays I’m not sure exactly how much they actually do but I’m pretty happy with this one application wise. My absolute favourite top coat is the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat and although I’ve mentioned it before lately I’ve noticed just how much difference it makes to the wear of polishes. It literally ensures at least 4 days of any polish without chipping which is freaking amazing for me!

Hmmm depends the MF Transform one is a lot more buildable but I think I prefer the Maybelline? They’re both SO good….
Really have to try that Sally Hansen nail gel! My nail polish ALWAYS chips within a day or two (if I’m lucky) no matter what I’m using! x

I’m so poor with thermal spray, I actually curl my hair every 2-3 days and never use it! Pretty much hair suicide, I might grab the Delorezo one, I’ve used their shampoos before so I know there a great brand :) xx

I am obsessed with the Lash Sensational mascara, its the best I have tried all year. I have a sneaky suspicion it will make its way into my 2015 faves! Too early a call?

I’m often seeing Lash Sensation cropping up but haven’t actually tried it. I’m desperate for mascaras that hold the curl so I’ll definitely have to try this one out!

I really like the Lash Sensational mascara too, been reaching for it lots this week. I’ve been using the SH Gel Top Coat with regular polishes since they were released because I really do think it extends the wear of my polishes! The lipstick looks lovely. xx
