What a week! I’ve spent the week in hibernation thanks to awful weather but a girl in hibernation still enjoys make up right? Here are a mix of some skincare, tools and make up I’ve been really loving!
First up we’ll start with tools because it’s not often I speak about tools on MTA (which needs to change!). I’ve been really back into using the Beauty Blender and for those of you wondering if it’s worth the hype - yes it is! I’ve had that Real Techniques alternative which is good but I still prefer the original because it’s just so light and bouncy blending foundation out like a dream. Speaking of Real Techniques how cool is it that the Bold Metals have now landed in Australia?! So cool. I’ve been using the Real Techniques Bold Metals Powder Brush to set my foundation with and the quality of this brush is on point. I can see why they’re labelled the more luxurious range from the brand. It’s easily the best quality brush I personally own! I’m not a huge fan of the tapered handle design but it’s doesn’t negatively affect the use of the brush so no biggie.
Onto some skincare products and my favourite thing to do at the moment is apply a heavier moisturiser and let my skin breathe (when at home that is). I’ve been really loving the Go-To Skincare Very Useful Face Cream for a real boost of hydration. If you’re after something super thick, moisturising and no fuss this is the product for you! Another skincare product that has been helping me put zero effort into my face but look put together is the Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector. I’ve mentioned this numerous times before but it’s a great morning time eye cream that really helps lessen the appearance of dark circles but give a good boost of hydration as well.
For a bit of sparkle I’ve been reaching for the YoungBlood Shadow in Pink Diamond. This has to be on par - if not better then Stila Kitten. It’s such a gorgeous shadow and doesn’t have as much fall out as the Stila offering. I love pressing a little into my inner corner to make me look super awake.

I’ve just started using my real Techniques blender again as well for concealer! How exciting that the bolds collection is in Aus now! x

I’m so excited! Really want to get those rose gold ones as well. x
The Beauty Blender is something I’ve been on the fence about trying for so, so long! I want to see if there really is a difference, but I have heard people say that it’s only marginally better than the RT offering and is $20 more. If it was leagues better, I would be tempted, but I am still so unsure! x

I would try the RT first and see if you like the method of application and then maybe invest? That’s what I did :) x
That brush is just gorgeous!! <3 I also agree re Beauty Blender. Best thing that has ever happened to me make up wise haha xx

How amazing is it?! x
Ooh I’m very excited to see the Bold Metals collection making its way to Priceline! They haven’t been available anywhere online as far as I know so at least now we’ll finally get to see them in person!

Whattttt! That sounds faulty :(
Great picks Sarah. Does the Kiel’s eye cream help to reduce dark circles over time? Or am I just being ridiculous by wishing for that xD I do love a good brightening eye cream though. Love the look of the YoungBlood shadow, shades like those are my go to! Never tried Stila Kitten but since everyone loves it, the youngblood shadow must be good too.
