5 DOWN-TO-EARTH FASHION BLOGS TO READ

4-down-to-earth-fashion-bloggers-to-follow

Often I’m asked what some of my favourite blogs are to read and at the moment it’s ones from the fashion category. Although I really enjoy the big name fashion blogs alot of the things they feature are unattainable for the everyday gal like me and you. Here are 4 fashion bloggers that are down-to-earth and relatable.

Lurch Hound Loves
A blog I found via Youtube is Lurch Hound Loves penned by the lovely Charlotte who is based in the UK. What I like about LHL is that it isn’t just ‘oh here is a pretty outfit’ posts, instead she shows how to style things, tips for how to make trends more wearable and of course lots of lifestyle/beauty content in the mix too. Charlotte is absolutely gorgeous and has a way of making something really simple look put-together and chic. Her Youtube videos are also ACE so have a peep at those as well!

Lion In The Wild
Kiara is someone I’ve followed on Instagram for a while now and only clicked through to her blog a couple of months ago. Now I’m kicking myself it took me so long because it really is a hub full of inspiration! Kiara has a very clean cut but slightly edgy style and always looks so insanely amazing. The images on the website are beautifully shot and you can tell alot of hard work goes into the editorial-sque site. There is a good mix of beauty and lifestyle bits thrown in there too but seriously if you’re after some amazing fashion content Lion In The Wild is where it’s at!

Stephanie Dreams
Although Stephanie and I have very different styles I find her outfits so cute and easy to put together which makes it very relatable to the everyday gal. Stephanie’s blog was actually one of the first I ever read and I’m still an avid reader. It just goes to show you don’t have to have similar tastes to enjoy someone else’s content! Steph’s imagery is absolutely gorgeous, mostly shot in countryside in the UK so it’s all very picturesque. Oh and the best part? She has the most adorable puppy who makes a cameo every now and then :P

Pretty Chuffed
I’ve spoken about Jasmine’s blog before but it’s one of my favourite Australian based fashion blogs because everything is under $100! I’m not afraid to splurge on a leather jacket or new boots but I do like to have a mix of affordable pieces too which is exactly what I turn to Pretty Chuffed for! Jasmine’s style is very similar to my own so I often find myself drooling over her mood boards and wish lists. Pretty Chuffed is full to the brim of affordable fashion, seasonal trends and the odd Mummy post too (love a good Mummy post!).

Such a great post, I love finding new blogs to read. Also you’re so right, as much as I love the big name fashion bloggers, they feature some ridiculously expensive pieces that just aren’t practical a lot of the time.
