After sharing the above photo on Instagram I had alot of you interested in seeing a recipe for my green smoothie bowl. It’s a long time favourite and something I indulge at least once a week! It’s yummy, quick and I serve it with a spoonful of peanut butter so for me it’s a win all round.
1 small banana or half a large one frozen – super important for it to be frozen to get that thick texture
1/2 coconut water (Peter Evans one is the best)
Handful of mint
1 cup of spinach
3-4 brazil nuts
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric and ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons of LSA mix
Juice of half a lemon
3-4 pieces of ice
Blend in good quality blender for a couple minutes and serve with peanut butter and chia seeds on top.
