A FRESH TAKE ON THE CHAMBRAY SHIRT

If you’re a long time reader you’ll know that I’m very fond of a bit of chambray and this season my collection has had a little bit of a revamp.

You may have spotted this photo over on Instagram where I was wearing a Topshop Slogan Denim Shirt and ever since buying it I’ve been slightly obsessed with new, fresh versions of the chambray shirt. I think we chambray it can look a little mums-y (nothing wrong with that) so it’s hard to find styles that are fun and cute but don’t make me feel like I should be have a toddler in tow.

Cue this absolute steal from Little Party Dress the ‘Macy Blue Chambray Shirt’ it really has got me all love-heart-eyed for the easy wear cut. I absolutely love how it is longline so will cover your bum, has the cuffs so you can roll the sleeves up AND IT HAS GORGEOUS FLOWERS ALL OVER IT! Ok. You get it. I’m obsessed.

So if you haven’t tried a chambray shirt – why! Get amongst the super easy wear piece and I promise you won’t regret it.

What I’m wearing: ‘Macy Blue Chambray Shirt’ (size 8, gifted) |  Spank My Love Pants (size 8, runs a tiny bit big so if you’re between sizes go down) | Lack Of Colour Fedora | Senso Leon Boots

Do you love a good chambray shirt?

  • I do love a good chambray shirt! My Portmans chambray shirt (complete with rose gold buttons & zipper) has been practically lived in since I bought it. So good for the transeasonal months, when a tee just doesn’t quite cut it.
