50 SHADES OF GREY WITH OPI

With the movie 50 Shades of Grey due to hit our screens this month OPI have released a collection of six limited edition colours. They are available in stores now!

The collection includes lots of (you guessed it) grey scale colours ranging from glitters to a deep charcoal shade. There is also a gorgeous red included which is to represent passion. The three colours I have are Cement the Deal which is a lovely creamy light grey, Dark Side of The Moon a deep charcoal colour with a slight blue undertone and Shine For Me which is a stunning micro-glitter shade with blue and silver specks.

All the shades are beautiful once applied however I found Dark Side Of The Moon slightly sheer in formulation, if you have the patience for three coats it is really worth it but I was slightly disappointed by the lack of evenness from the darker shade. The other two are much like the majority of the permanent range of OPI shades, opaque, long-lasting and high quality.

Overall I’m super impressed with the three shades I’ve tried and would recommend checking out the collection, especially as we come into the cooler months. They are limited edition so be quick!

    I am usually not a fan of grey nail polish colours but these are really pretty! I am dying to try the red soon as well! xx

    I was sent a few of these as well but I haven’t yet tried them. My friends and I were quite amused by the fact that they brought out a 50 shades of grey collection haha :P The glitter looks so pretty though!

      The glittery is gorgeous. I was a little shocked they bought out a collection for it but they do do ALOT of collections I guess :) x

    Oooh zexy, I’m in the market for a darker nail polish at the moment but I definitely don’t have the patience for lots of coats, it just gives me more opportunity to mess up my paint job ha x

      Definietly. I was super disappointed by the dark shade especially considering that comparing it to the lighter grey it was terrible.. The other shades are great though… I guess every line has a dud shade x

    Saw these in David jones yesterday, love grey nails for the cooler months.
