Shopping for the Autumn season is always so much fun, everything is so cosy and so many things go really well with the colder temperatures. To help make the transition from summer sale racks to jumpers and boots, here are some Autumn essentials to add to your wardrobe over the coming months.

A Blazer: You can never go wrong with a blazer at any time of the year, however during Autumn a blazer looks sophisticated and classier than ever, over a pretty dress or a collared shirt. During autumn look out for classic coloured blazers in navy, black or grey.

Boots: Definitely the most essential autumnal item as they are everywhere at the moment! This autumn season small boots are popular as they are very versatile and can be paired with a perfect pair of jeans. Longer boots also go with everything else on this list too!

Scarves: One of my favourite things about the cooler months has got to be wearing scarves. I have been seeing so many lovely ones recently. Usually 2 or 3 is your magic number. A lightweight scarf is perfect for when the sun is poking out behind the clouds and for when it is cooler you can’t go wrong with a nice thick plaid scarf either!

Knitted Jumpers: One of the comfiest and cosiest things to wear is a knitted jumper. It will keep you warm, toasty and snug. They can be paired with absolutely anything for an ‘I spent a lot of time getting ready this morning’ look, when really you stayed in bed a little longer because it was freezing.

Leather Pants: A well known trend for this Autumn season is leather pants, a little different to jeans however rocking them with confidence while wearing an amazing outfit means they will make a great statement and are great for when the temperature drops.

Button Up Shirts: So many of these are around at the moment and I am loving them all. Easy to pair with a statement necklace or a dark autumnal lip colour, these shirts need to be added to yourwardrobe. Anything with a pattern or an autumn inspired colour such as burgundy are the go-to picks.

Coats: Sometimes it just gets cold enough to wear amazing coats. Caramel coloured, oversized, fleece lined. So many choices. Coats always look incredible during the Autumn season and are something you just can’t live without.

Oversized Bag: A big oversized bag for Autumn is great for carrying all the necessities that you need to have with you like your phone, purse, diary, laptop, headphones, lip balm and of course don’t forget an umbrella either!

Yes to everything!!! I definitely need new boots as my old ones are probably from 4 years ago. But I need flat ones for work as I would probably fall over in heels lol. There are some cute knitted tops around now, too many to choose from!

100% with you on all of these! I still don’t know if I’m brave enough to wear leather pants, but I definitely love a pair of leggings with some leather (pleather) detailing :)

Ha ha leggings seems to be the general idea, I am keen to try out leather pants however if I’m not feeling bold enough the leather kind of disco pants/leggings are also a favourite of mine too! :) xx

I love leather pants, I have always loved leather pants & I’m going to tell everyone that if you want them to last longer than 1 season you have to invest money in them! They will last you a lifetime. I learnt this the hard way after consitantly spending $70-$100 at a time on faux leather pants from places like Princess Polly (no hate toward them). I’m still on the hunt for my perfect pair now. Also if you are going to invest make sure you try them on or measure them properly, you don’t want the leg to be too long or too big for you (also learnt that the hard way).

Everything else on this list are perfect too. You sure have made Autumn shopping that little easier.
