CHRISTMAS IN JULY WITH LUSH 2015

Can you believe it’s July already? This year has really flown by and to celebrate being over half way through the year Lush have released a little Christmas in July collection. If you’re anything like me Christmas is your favourite time of year and Christmas at Lush contributes to that in a BIG way. Here are a round up on some of the collection – be quick it’s not in store for much longer!

For the body Rose Jam Shower Gel (and Snow Fairy) are back and still smelling as good as ever. Rose Jam is a rose scented body wash that has ingredients like lemon and berries that help balance the scent so it’s not too overpowering. I still have my huge bottle I bought at Christmas time last year so I’m excited to have this as a back up… Hopefully it gets me through until Christmas this year then I’ll never be without. If you haven’t tried the body washes from Lush they’re gorgeous, creamy and lather well so it’s worth the extra money. The other body product I wanted to talk about while we’re on the subject of Lush is the From Dawn to Dusk Massage Bar which isn’t a Christmas in July exclusive but the scent of it is incredible! It’s very zesty with orange and lemon, something I REALLY love in a body product and the oils just leave your skin looking/feeling so softly hydrated. I use this out of the shower against my warm body – it’s heavenly and perfect for a winter pick me up.

Back into the Christmas exclusives and YAY for the gorgeous Candy Mountain Bubble Bar being back. At Christmas time last year I bought four of these in the sale and I’m obsessed with the really OTT sweet scent. This creates loads of soft bubbles in the bath and it’s one I recommend to everyone for a bit of fun. If you’re wondering what the scent is comparable to in Lush it’s exactly the same as Rockstar Soap (another one of my faves). The last thing I’m going to talk about today is the Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb and this is a new one to me. It’s spicy with patchouli and pepper oil and apparently it has popping candy in the middle so I’m sure in the bath it’ll give a bit of a show. I’m not crazy about the scent but I’m excited to see it in the bath.

I posted about Eggsnog and Candy Mountain (love the sweet scent so much) but I adore Rose Jam, that floral rosy aroma is to die for!
