I’m actually sneaking away this weekend for the digital world at least… You know sometimes you just need a break from the hashtags, tweets and blogs? I’ve been craving it for a little while so when you’re reading this I’m logged off enjoying some much needed time switched off. It’s been a long week and I’ve made some new discoveries as well as found some gems in my collection. All worth a look into over the weekend!
I’ll start off with this amazing Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream that I spoke about yesterday thanks to the limited edition packaging. Essentially this is a basic moisturiser designed for all skin types and will really hydrate the skin due to the gorgeous gel-based formulation. It absorbs quickly but gives a good whack of hydration which is exactly what I want from a moisturiser. I recommend this to everyone - it’s amazing (apparently so amazing that 4 are sold globally every single minute!!!).
Onto some make up bits and I’m pretty obsessed with these Chi Chi Stay On Lipliners in Totally Nude, Centrefold and It Girl which are all nude colours. How I justified purchasing all three is insane but I wear one of these every single day. Centrefold is my favourite universal shade and it teams well with my favourite Shanghai Suzy lipstick in Desert Rose. I really love how the packaging is retractable so you don’t waste any product when sharpening. Another rediscovery has been the Make Up Forever Aqua Brow - what an awesome eyebrow product. It’s so fiddly and gives a really bold brow look but sometimes that’s exactly what you need. The formulation is ridiculously long-lasting and possibly waterproof (haven’t tried it) so well worth the splurge. Last up for make up the Maybelline Fit Me Blush in Medium Nude is that gorgeous winter day oh-I-got-stuck-in-the-cold rose cheek look without being too red. These aren’t very pigmented which I LOVE because it means you can slowly build them up rather then slapping on a lot and regretting it instantly.

Those Chi Chi shades look awesome. I’ve heard really great things about their lipliners but never checked them out, I really should now that I wear lip liner more often!

This week I’ve been obsessed (for the lack of a better word) with MAC’s Whirl lip pencil. Not the most summery shade out there, however I can’t resist a good brown-toned lip product.

I’m always on the hunt for moisturizing creams so I’m going to have to check out the Keihl’s one! I have been adoring my Origins Active Charcoal masks this week!
