You guys may or may not know that growing up I was a bit of a tomboy because I have a brother very close in age. Now I think that’s why the thought of looking chic for a meeting or office environment really induces a high level of anxiety for me. I’m sure that I’m not the only one that happens too so here is a super easy outfit that is still uber comfy but makes you look like you have your shit together.

One of the cool things about being a blogger is getting to work with companies that you really like and one of those for me is St.Frock! I’m apart of their blogger family which means they allow me to pick out pieces in return for coverage on Instagram and the blog. When picking out pieces I always try to choose items that are outside of my comfort zone but also ones that are realistic to incorporate into an everyday wardrobe so this time around I not only went for white pants but also a CAPE! Say whaaatttt?
As I was saying in the intro if there is something that is missing from my wardrobe it’s smart casual/girlboss/I’m-a-professional clothing so I’m trying to bridge the gap at the moment. My friend, who works in a very fancy store, was recently wearing cape to work so when I spotted the ‘Overdrive Cape in Charcoal Grey’ I thought why not give it a go. I love it! It’s not as structured as other capes I’ve seen so you still get a level of comfort which is exactly what I was after. I’m wearing the size 12 and I could’ve got away with the size 10 (generally I’m a 10 or 12 on top) but I do love the way it’s oversized so I don’t mind so much. This is available in a few different colours too… I’m eyeing the white at the moment. Oh and excuse my terrible ironing skills, I didn’t have time to get it dry cleaned before the shoot… #bloggerskeepingitreal
I teamed it with the ‘Executive Decision Stretch Pants in White’ also from St.Frock and these are super comfy. Again I’m wearing a size 12 (no way I could’ve got my booty into a 10) and I’ve cuffed them up because they’re a little too long plus I like the way cuffed pants look. I’m super impressed with these guys as well, really comfy and easy to wear especially considering how tricky white pants can be. I’ve been eyeing up white jeans for a while and a lot of styles are so tight they’re unflattering but these are a great fit - a little loose but still fitting enough they’re flattering.
For the rest of the outfit I kept the under top really simple wearing a creamy white silky top I bought a few seasons ago (I’ve linked a similar style). My bag is my Rebecca Minkoff Mini Perry Satchel (I did a review on here) that I love so much so I’m currently eyeing up the cream version! I’ve removed the cross body strap for a more formal look. The shoes are my beloved Senso Riley’s which I wear to death. I love the personality they add to any outfit and they’re the best money I’ve ever spent.
