THE WEEKLY NOTES #10 feeling grateful, spring clothes & operation drink more water

What a quick week! We had a long weekend last weekend so it’s felt like this week has flown. There hasn’t been too many things happening but I have a few things I want to chat (ramble) about.

First off I want you guys to know I’m we are so grateful to have you all reading, commenting and following us over social media and here on the blog. I think last weekend (our trip to Marysville) we realised how many cool things we get to do and it’s really back to you guys doing all that stuff. We hit a huge 1 million views since relaunching last November, so in less than a year - what a number! It’s super cool to be able to share and connect with you all and I feel really grateful you’ve all stuck by me with site evolving. You may have noticed that I’m incorporating more of ‘me’ back into the site because for a while there I felt a bit disconnected… Like I was holding you all at arms length and I don’t want the site to be like that. Sure I want it to be full of fun articles, have a community-like magazine but I don’t want to lose that ‘oh that’s Sarah website and we know what she’s about’ element. That’s why I started this weekly series and branched out into Youtube videos as well… I hope that makes sense? I digress. You guys ROCK and Isaac, Simba and me appreciate you all supporting us.

Has anyone els been so unenthused by the spring collection in store at the moment? I’m not a huge fan of the 70’s trend which is everywhere and I just can’t seem to find anything I love. If you’ve spotted some cool clothing online I’d love to hear about it in the comments because I want to be super, super organised and sort my spring/summer wardrobe out early this season.

I’m also trying to drink more water. I’ve been having horrible headaches lately so I want to really up my daily intake especially as the weather heats up. Do you have any tips for that? I’m a bit rubbish at drinking water throughout the cooler months…

What has been happening for you this week? Anything exciting?

    • I find it so hard to find anything that’s not 70’s x

  • Wow congratulations on 1 million views! That’s amazing Sarah!! With the water thing. I purchased a 1L bottle. I make sure I finish the bottle before lunch then fill it up at lunch and finish the next 1L by early afternoon. Then fill it one more time and try to finish that before bed. I found it really helped. 3L is a really good water goal and helps me feel really good and really helps with my skin as well!! <3

    • Thank you so much! I’m so proud to have reached it. Ooo I might try that. I definitely used to do it but haven’t been doing it over winter…

  • Michelle bridges has a drink bottle that has times on it. It helps me to drink more water because you can look at it and be like OMG its 1pm I should have drank up to the 1pm line & then you just do it!

    • Oooo! I might have to look into that! Thanks Mel x

  • Agree - I’m so not interested in the 70s thing going on at the moment.
I have a 800mL water bottle sitting on my work desk that I drink each day. I always drink at least 600mL during exercising as well

    • Wow you’re too good! 70’s trend SUCKS!
