If you’re anything like me you look at a current trend and think ‘god I would not even know where to start’. The 90’s trend is one that is here to stay for the cooler months and off-the shoulder pieces are a great way to incorporate it into your everyday wardrobe.

The trick is to choose something that’ll flow in your existing wardrobe items. For me, the culottes or the wide leg pants just wouldn’t suit my figure or seamlessly fit in so they were a no go. When choosing trends to ‘follow’ I always ask myself if it’s the type of piece that I would wear even after the trend passes and that’s when I take the plunge and purchase. For example my Senso Riley Heels I’m wearing had their moment last season however they’re easily my most worn heels so it was worth getting them when they were considered on trend.

When purchasing remind yourself of the items you already have in wardrobe. Does the particular top fit into your personal style? Is it something you’ll be able to wear in a number of ways? The MLM Label Top I’m wearing is actually a mini dress I bought in the summer time. I love that I can wear it with jeans as more of a tunic style – mini dresses are THE BEST for that.

The off the shoulder trend is something that you can now spot in higher end boutiques as well as in the chain stores so you’ll be able to find it in a huge range of different styles. I particularly love the MLM Label ones because they’re so uber comfortable.
