White jeans are something I’ve always struggled to wear or find a great fitting pair. Now I’m doing these fashion features I really wanted to hunt down an awesome pair and see how I went with styling them… Let’s just say I’m completely converted!

Nude underwear are a MUST
It’s a basic rule of thumb but seriously ladies don’t wear your bright pink, leopard print knickers! Seamless, nude underwear are a must to ensure that you’re not flashing anyone. Even if you’re confident you’re wearing the thickest pair of jeans either just wear the goddamn ugly beige undies just incase!

Don’t shy away from unique cuts
If you’re a Gen Y like me sometimes we forget that there are other cuts apart from the skinny leg, high-waisted jean. The pair I’m wearing are the Kylie Ripped Pants from The Hidden Boutique. They’re only $60 and are high-waisted (my fave), 7/8 in length so super flattering and have these cool slits in the knees. I like the added detail of the slits at the knees because it breaks up the stark white. It also means they’re really comfy to walk in too! Try looking at boyfriend, straight leg or distressed washed options for an added element of cool.

Go up a size ‘just in case’
White jeans aren’t flattering at the best of times but especially when you decide to go the tighter size. If you’re in between sizes or are worried about the white showing your lumps and bumps go up a size! I’m wearing a size 10 even though I’m currently wearing a size 8 in most things and I’m so glad I went the bigger size. The thing with white clothes is that they can go transparent when stretched so better to be safe then sorry.

Wear a longer top
If you’re still feeling a little weird about the white jean thing then team it with a longer top that skims over your hips and but. I’ve teamed it with an uber cute ‘Prague Cami’ because it’s got a cool neckline but it also is loose fitting and skims over my hips. A cool off the shoulder top would also look amazing with white jeans during the spring time!

Add some height
These Tell Mules by Betts give me life! I probably needed to go up a size so keep that in mind if you’re ordering online. They give some height making my legs look skinny and give me that extra boost of confidence. The great thing about these shoes are that they’re not too high making walking in them everyday so bloody comfy – win!

I LOVE this entire look Sarah! I’m not a huge fan of distressed jeans, but the distressing on these pants is subtle & I like that. (And YES ladies, you MUST wear nude underwear with white clothing, especially jeans/pants! It’s amazing how many people are unaware that rule.)

I’d love to rock a pair of white jeans/pants, but (a) me + white clothing = stains galore & frustration with trying to get said stains out & (b) my pear-shaped body with a bit of a tummy says “nuh uh” whenever I try on a pair.

Loving your fashion posts babe! I do love white jeans I feel like they can be more dressy than the classic blue or black but your right finding a pair to suit your body shape is a must!! I also LOVE the heels you have paired with them. They look so comfy.
