Up until recently I’d kept away from any material that wasn’t double layered and providing me with complete coverage. Why? Because I just didn’t know what to do with my boobs… I knew you couldn’t go braless without slipping a nip but I also knew I couldn’t use boob tape because… Well you’d be able to see it.
Cue the bralette trend and my life has changed. TMI maybe but I’m not a huge fancy bra fan and I hate bra shopping so much I’m breaking out in a sweat just thinking about. My collection is made up for t-shirt bras with the occasion lace one in a random colour that I may have found on sale – it’s not very extensive or exciting. When I start playing around with fashion more I started to fall in love with sheer designs like this adorable Everygirl Black Floral Playsuit. I love the way it’s sexy without being too much or having that stress of keeping your boobs tucked in when you go commando. Unless you’ve been blessed with perfectly perky girls, or had some enhancing in the area, there will always be that ‘what the fuck do I do thought?’ but now no more.
Buy a bralette and yes they do come in bigger sizes with some hunting! I’ve now dropped down to a C/D cup so I’m able to fit into a M but it’s a balancing act finding something to fit around the boob and then the waist. It can be done though! I would really recommend Brogan Kate Intimates for super cute options that are great quality too. I love the way the bralette peeping through adds to the outfit but you don’t actually get alot of cleavage action at all.
My main piece of advice would be to make sure you shop around and try lots of styles on. Also make sure you check Little Party Dress as there are so many cute styles on there at the moment at great prices – plus Kelly the own is a gem who really helps you out with styles and sizes if you need it!
Have you ventured into the sheer world? What do you usually wear underneath?
